Back from my GI appointment, and I told him about my marijuana use. He seemed okay with it, he mainly wanted to know how much I smoked per day and said that it's not going to be bad for the Crohn's at all. He also said that at least it will get me eating more than I am right now. All in all, it went pretty well, at least he didn't try to persuade me to stop.

Then, Monday, I get to do a capsule endoscopy+upper tube endoscopy, yay! It should be interesting to say the least...it's been awhile since my last scope.

My girlfriend has Crohn's and she was wondering what the positives of smoking marijuana are for her...

Weed puts me in a great mood even if i have been shitty all day. When i smoke i dont have any pains, unless i eat really bad stuff. Without weed crones would be much more painfull and depressing.

I just meet a new dealer a month ago. He just told me he gets dank and that he has Lemon Kush 2 weeks ago so i'm excited. Just wish I had enough money for it.

It's lessened my bathroom trips to 2-3 a day instead of over 6, stops cramping nearly immediately, gets rid of nausea, lessens stomach and joint pain, and increases my appetite.

UPDATES: Im trying to edit my first post and include all the ways that we have stated MMJ has helped us, and then also i was going to put a list of a lot of research things that have been going on with MMJ/IBD.

This thread took off way more than i thought it would so i am trying to give it the respect it deserves.

(im not saying i dont like yall post things like "how does it help", cuz i have no problem answering that question. Cuz it speads the knowlege which betters our chances of legalization and publicity
but it would just be easier/quicker for everyone if there everything was in the first post and then they could ask specific details

If he has the internet, consider giving him a link to this thread. Its makes me sad that my state, will probably be the last to legalize MM. While i do not suffer from chrons disease, i feel for you guys i really do. I have a really severe case of IBS, and it could be something worse. BUT, i have ZERO medical insurance, and work a 8.50$ an hour job. Sooo in short i cannot afford to go to a doctor and get a proper diagnosis/treatment.

I can tell you guys this however, cannabis is a god send. It really has cut my time in the bathroom in half. I just wish i could use my medicine legally.

God I just want to say Im really glad to see how this thread is going.

Not only are we brining our collective differences together and talking

to each other about our illnesses ( which is so much better to be able

to talk to others about this diesase ) and the fact that we're seeing

posts with people asking about it, respecting it.

this is the shit that helps people out.


if i could id +rep all of you for posting on this thread and help keeping

us with Chrones/UC strong by relating/talking/asking

Indeed, it's great to have fellow Chronies to talk to. Having a shared interest in the herb is a bonus.
Nice to see others take an interest too. Isn't it scary how many people seem to know someone with Chrone's/UC/IBS? It's almost like its an epidemic now practically.
