Your state is new to MMJ but when I read the law a few months ago I found it pretty specific and well written. It may take years for the state to be more open and forgiving for other illnesses.

MMJ has its toe in the door it is up to NM citizens to open it wider. Good Luck!

My uncle messed up his arm bad and the doctors prescribed him oxycontins but it is too harsh on his stomach so he doesn't take them and his arm hurts. Is it possible for him to get prescribed MMJ. Thanks

how long should the length of the probelm be? like how many years is a good amount to get mmj?

ive had a hip problem for almost 2 years.. so just curious

You could petition to have the problem looked at by the State Board, so it is possible. Your uncle would have to be in a great deal of pain, if he was prescribed oxycotin I think he would be. The key thing to stress is that he does not benefit from other medication or they cause bad side effects. With MMJ he would not have the same problems he has with other medicine.

What state do you live in?

It is not so much how long you have had a problem; it helps if your problem is chronic or persistent.
Have you seen a doctor for your problem? How often and how recent? Are you currently prescribed medicine for your pain?
What about inflammation, are you prescribed anti-inflammatory medicine?
Do you have x-rays of your hip that can be shown to a doctor? If they were taken you can get them from the original physician.

Do you need assistance walking, with a cane or a walker?

Tell me more about your hip problem....have you had it dislocate....is the bone deteriorating....is it cartilage or ligament damage?

my father has had this pain in his leg for years. Hes smoked the take the pain away before, but he dosen't like the fact that hes doing something illegal.

his leg always hurts. For instance, we were walking downtown yesterday and all of a sudden he fell down curled up into a ball and cried. we called the ambulance. my father is 56 years old.

is there any chance that you could help our family?

What is causing the pain in your fathers leg, has he been diagnosed? Has he seen a doctor for it? When was the last he saw a doctor? Is he currently taking any medication for the ailment?.

All of the questions will help me to know, in turn it will help me to help you, help your father.

Hi, I live in Georgia and am not seeking MMJ info, but I have a question you might be able to answer.

What exactly does that mean? I have never heard of anyone getting MMJ in ga, but this is what I am showing:

Bill approved: February 1980
Current status: Still in effect
Highlights: Establishes a controlled substances therapeutic research program for patients suffering from glaucoma and cancer chemotherapy







Am I reading it wrong? It says that they established a research program for it? and it is still ongoing? for 28 years?

Its been diagnosed but i cant remember what its called. Hes been taking painkillers for some time now. They put him in a haze that makes him incapable of working safley (hes a dentist) He saw a doctor the 14th, and weve got a follow up appointment for next tuesday.

On your follow-up doctors visit. Be sure that he is given a diagnosis on the patient records and any other feed back the doctor would like to include.

Get the diagnosis!

Find out what drugs he has been prescribed, make sure the doctor knows he has had problems with the drug and have this in the records.
