age limit or no?

i was thinking about how many kids there are in hospitals with cancer or deadly diseases that cause them a lot of pain, and was wondering if there is an age limit to medical marijuana? i mean its illegal to smoke it at all, but not with a medical card... i had a friend who died of cancer when i was 12 years old and it was really sad for me and her family and all of her friends, because she was really cool, and if medical marijuana can keep kids from dying and keep them from going through what so many have gone through... so i guess my question is if there is a restriction on who can use medical marijuana or not?

I'm going to say (guess) that it varies, depending on the state, but I believe that in California, the limit is 18, unless the patient has parent's permission.

I think this is correct at least in ca. because I have seen an actual news reporter interviewing a ca. pediatrician who was recommending medical cannabis for her add/adhd patients. Now I am sure there is more to the story but that's all I know.

ive read a legit news report of a child as low as 9 receiving MM for many anxiety and mental disorders just like children as low as 9 on ritalin for ADD (this was in cali but i bet other states with MM would prescribe it to a 9 year old for cancer)

Marijuana will help the process but no way will it just prevent them from dying.

eh i typed that wrong. i know it doesnt keep them from dying but it gives them new hope because it can slow the cancer and relieve pain. so i guess MM is legal under prescription for anyone of any age. that's interesting.

I dont think they sell smokeables to kids, but I know they can get eddibles.

If they have a cannabis recommendation they can smoke it or eat it.
I see ppl as young as 16, but with parent's permission, I believe they can go younger.
