Is it legal in AZ for medical use? Confused on Law.

I use marijuana for medical purpose's. I have Crohn's and I use it to treat my stomach cramps and nausea. I have read mixed laws that they made it legal for use in AZ back in 96 but doctors cant prescribe it? Maybe I am wrong, so that is why I am asking here.

Can anyone define the law for me in AZ? I wish they would legalize it for medical use all over the united states. I hate going to go get it and taking the risk, but I need it in order to have a normal life for my disease.

Ugh, why cant they just legalize it for medical use. It has so many benefits. Id rather walk into cvs to get my percription, then drive home in fear that I would be pulled over.
