New to forums,need advice on mmj in cali

I've been reading through the site for awhile now and love the vibe and decided to get your advice on getting a med card in cali.I know there are other threads but I am wondering what I should do about my situation.I've had lower back pain for years now sometimes worse than others,and I don't sleep very well on a regular basis.I haven't really seen any doctors so I don't have any records to show for either of the problems.I'm against man made meds and try to stay away from any sort.I would like to get a idea of your personal experiences and/or suggestions on where I should start.I will be going either to my family doctor or chiropractor and getting my records on file and I assume I just take the files to one of the mmj docs.I need some advice anything would be helpful,thank you.Sorry for the long post.

that sounds like the right direction. as long as you have record of ailment you will get your card.

Thank you for your response,but, can I go to a doctor(first time there)get checked out,and will the records for my back pain for just that one appointment be enough to see a mmj specific doc?
