My depression

Hey, my name is Nate and I am 18.

I have depression and I was for a short time on anti-depressants. I stopped using them because I didn't want to be dependant on a pill.

Since then I have started smoking Cannabis to help my mood and depression.

I was wondering about medical marijuana becasue of my blatant fear of cops. (go firgure)

I just don't think they would let me. Is there a certain age you need to be? Im only 18 and I have long hair....and I know how people stereotype guys with long hair. Do you guys think I would stand a chance?

I live in Canada too, I don't know if that would make a diffrence. I know the laws and such are diffrent in some places.

Hey, I am not to sure about the law in Canada I just know a lot of patients in California that have switched there pills for marijuana and they have reported that they feel happier and they feel better. I don;t think the way you look will have to do with anything.

ya, the pills just didn't do it for me. They made me angry and irritable. Pot just makes everytihng more enjoyable and makes my outlook on the world wonderful.

Man, i sit at home and think about the world and where we are going and it depresses me.

And then I'll go out for a nice nature walk with a pipe, and that totally brightens my day.

I constantly think. I never stop thinking. I always think about like 10 things are once.

cannabis relaxes the mind. it helps w/ anxiety and depression way more than pharms

I am a what if thinker. I can entertain several thoughts at once. Sometimes its so bad that I can't sleep. Good thing about weed, it calms my "what if" thinking down so I can rest at night.

I just turned 19 and I have a California Medical Marijuana reccomendation for anxiety and depression, along with chronic pain. Like you say, I think constantly. Constantly over-evaluating everything. It sucks. But cannabis does help, but I've never tried the pharms.
I think you are a candidate for medicinal cannabis.

Same thing with me, ive had this almost my whole life, how did your teenage years go?

I have had stomach problems due to ulcers my whole life. This can be linked to my worrying problem as a child.

thats me right there! i can almost never sleep im always thinking what if this what if that, always thinkin about what i got to do in the am, im a bit of a worry wort some say, mj is my medicine, im thinking of up and moing to cali or alaska, the only thing i really have is a dog so a big move would be easy

Yeah I didn't notice that I worry more than most up until a few years back. I just thought everyone had these same thoughts.

It would be cool if you came to cali with your dog.

I got the severe anxiety/social anxiety/panic attacks/depression that all stems from the same thing. The really shitty thing is everybody says they have that, everybody says they have so much stress and anxiety but they are too foolish to see that that's called life but they would rather label it as a condition. Its sad because I know I have the real conidition, its the only mood im ever in and most often i over analyze and that turns into fear which consumes me. A better anaolgy would be a person with a fractured foot or wrist saying they are handicap to a quadrapleagic.

I was put on Paxil and Buspirone about a week ago. Sucks taking pills just to try and feel normal. So if I lived in Cali I would have a MM card so fast. But I dont. so I self medicate.

I have such a hard time sleeping sometimes and cannabis puts me right to sleep, helps with my depression, and clears my mind of all those thoughts. I am just scared a doctor wouldnt take me serious or would laugh at me, i dunno.
