Smoking and Health/Tests

Like some people, I'm kinda worried about a few things when I smoke.

First question I have for experienced smokers is that when I take a hit, and I get the urge to cough my ass off(and eventually do after I let the smoke out), is it normal or is it just because I'm a beginner?

Second question. Approximate amount of time cannabis will stay in your blood and piss and such.

Third question. Sometimes when I smoke, it feels like I'm gonna go hurl(Like there's a ball in your throat underneath your Adam's Apple). Too high too fast?

I think that's it... lol I probably had a Forth question but forgot.. Well any info on the following questions would be appreciated.

when you hit a pipe, dont pull straight into your throat..
pull into your mouth, then inhale fresh air

if you dont know how long weed stays in your system and youre worried about testing, i would recommend not smoking until you do.

always know what you're getting yourself into man

1. its because your lungs arent used to smoke yet, same goes for tobbaco users.

2. a month is a good rule of thumb (30 days) this is highly dependant on your body chemistry and metabolism

3. go a little slower man, its not a race, relax, enjoy it, take your time. I smoke quite a bit and 2 hits off a bong still get me BLAZED,

1.) It's not just because you're a beginner, so don't feel bad. I've been smoking daily now for about 6 years (and regularly for 8)... I still cough my ass off from time to time... Like if I take a huge hit, or if it's some really dank ass buds...

2.) It stays in your blood for 1-2 days, and in your piss for upwards of a month or more... This depends largely on your metabolism, build, activity, and how much & often you smoke.

3.) I get this sometimes, too... But mine usually comes from smoking too many blunts, without enough time in between (the tobacco makes me a bit queezy sometimes).

You could be swallowing smoke, or it could just be that your body isn't very used to it. Give it a little time, and try goin a little easier. Slow it down a bit, and see if that helps

for the test it really depends.

For a saliva test it will only show up for a 1-24 hour period.
For piss you gotta wait like a month.
For hair i think its something like 90 days.


To greatly reduce the wait i would try some detox kits on the market. Drinking lots of water does nothing. As for the sick feeling, make sure that youve got some decent weed and not cheap crap.

Coughing is perfectly normal even after years of smoking, but it greatly decreases after you've had a few sessions. And about the tests, I am sorry to tell you, but if they make you the hair drug test(People go with that test really rarely), they can see you've smoked for 3 to even 9 months later, but the normal piss tests only show like 1-2 weeks, if you you use extreame amounts for a long period may be a month, but piss tests can be fucked up easy if you look for a way, and dont worry about the hair test, cuz its made verry rarely by big employers(which really care) and shit, and if you need to take that kind of test, you will have the kindda money(I think its about 40$) to buy something that will make you look clean on the test.
