Is Medicinal weed the "MEX" of "Kind Weed"???

The use of Medical Marijuana has exploded. Especially here in the United States. I know many people who either get thier Herb from Medical Dispenseries with fraudulent claims of needing for Med use.....I know a ton of people who get thier herb from people with access to Medical MArijuana Dispenseries.
Medicinal Herb is Highly potent, usually presenting a "KNOCK OUT" High that alleviates pain and suffering. I noticed something recently and want peoples opinion on this.....
Basically I noticed that "ALL" the Herb sold in Dispenseries are merely known for thier "Medicinal qualities"......I have seen many strains offered and sure enough all of them fall into the seed banks section of "MEDICINAL".......

"NOW PLEASE DO NOT MIS-UNDERSTAND ME....I AM IN NO WAY SUGGESTING THE HERB SOLD AT MEDICAL DISPENSERIES IS NOT SOME OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY AVAILABLE".........

I Do know that MEdical Dispenseries often purchase Herb from suppliers who have "MEDICINAL STRAINS"..........ONLY!!!!!

MY Point is...and I think I do have some Leverage on this point.....Those who are getting herb from medicinal Dispensaries are far removed from numerous other strains that contain a Far greater level of "Creativity, Energy,Flavor,Mental clarity..etc.etc...........

So my question is this...........

Is Medical Marijuana with all of it's sedating and powerfull effects....distracting some smokers from the strains that are not known as medicinal...Rather "Creative"..."Energy producing"....Like Thai Sticks for example.....and other strains that are for the "PURE" recreational smoker now saturated in "Body High" Medical Marijuana......essentially are these smokers who are not "TRULY" in need of medical assistance yet think they are getting the "BEST of THE BEST"....Or are they just getting the "BEST MEDICINAL".....Not necessarily the "BEST" when non-medical factors are taken into consideration????

Personally....I think "YES"...Although Medical MArijuana is Great and I get all comfy and my pain alleviated.....I miss the weed that gets me to write poems, Laugh harder at movies and wanna go to the beach....

What do you guys think of this Theory????......??????

In the near future Will offering someone Medicinal weed vs. Power weed be like asking someone if they would rather have some sleeping pills or a bump of Cocaine ? LOL ?

Ok, just so you don't sound foolish anymore. Medical Marijuana is bud that is grown by a licensed medical marijuana patient/caregiver. Sometimes however it IS from a commercial grower who happens to have a big warehouse to grow in.

Second dealers can ONLY deal to dispensaries IF they have their medical recommendation and it is up to date and IF it is a strain that the dispensary doesn't have in at the moment.

If you have any further argument, move to california and figure it out bud.

Cannabis sold at the dispensaries is rarely grown illegally. Patients often grow it and sell it back to the clubs.
The club I go to often has 4 kinds of good indoor purple at one time, among many other strains.
Medical cannabis dispensaries sell most every single strain of cannabis they can find as long as it is quality, and they even have lower grade medicine for lower prices.

There is no such thing as a strictly medicinal strain, all marijuana is medicinal. Dispensaries sell everything from Indicas to Sativas and each has a different high and different medical uses. For example I use sativas in the morning to give me that energized high so that throughout the day I can still function while I'm working but not be in pain. Then at night when I'm just relaxing and watching TV I smoke an indica to help me unwind and help me sleep. It's not like the breeder says OK I'm making this particular strain but it's only for medicinal use. I don't understand why you are making an assumption the dispensaries only sell one type of marijuana. As far as thai stick is concerned all it was is a strain of sensi back in the 60's that came from Thailand and was skewered with piece of stem and tied in place with some fibers from the stem. It's not really around any more because it isn't as good as modern strains. I don't want to be a dick but you're post is riddled with some strange logic, assumptions, and doesn't make much sense to be honest. I'm not sure where you are getting your info from but I would do some more research because you really don't seem to know much about the subject you are trying to comment on. As far as your assumption that people are getting medical marijuana under false pretenses; I have to respectfully disagree. I'm not naive and I realize that there is bound to be abuse in the medical marijuana system but I would bet that 90% of medical marijuana users are truly in need. Even if they are only using it for something as simple as insomnia.

Edit: As far as the varieties that dispensaries choose to sell; it has less to do with the medicinal qualities of the strain and more to do with what the customers want.

I haved lived in Cali all my life. I got my "recommendation" back in '96 when 215 passed. All that 215 did was give us underground growers a "leg-up" against law enforcment. Unless the feds knock on the door, and you can't even mention MMJ in court.

But as far as MMJ strain specific, it is false. The Clubs will buy ANYTHING. If Club "a" won't, Club "b" sure will take it. You might not get the price you want, but they will take it. The ONLY time I have seen clubs not take smoke is between November and January. The hight of the outdoor season in cali. The clubs get flooded with cheap smoke. But after a couple of months, folks are tired of the cheap outdoor and want thier bomb back. And the prices go back up. I have seen it for 11 years now.

Now, don't get me wrong. I am all for MMJ. We have been tryin' to get MJ decriminalized for decades. And that was the first avenue that the public agreed on.
It is only a stepping stone to Decrimalize MJ completly.

I never said they were in DIRE need just that they were in need. Besides even if someone is just using it to relive the pain and stress from working all day, then thats good enough to constitute need in my book.
