A week off, for every 3 months
So I went to get my doctor's recommendation a few weeks ago, and he told me that I should take 1 week off from smoking/vaping/eating weed for every 3 months to avoid any permanent physical and psychological side effects. Have you all heard the same thing?

Yeah i've heard the same thing, i'm not to sure about psychological and physical side effects though, i always thought they just said it so you would take a tolerance break and your meds would be more effective.

thats so awesome, that he is that up front about it. my doctor would be like wtf your smoking Marijuana. your gonna be dead in 4 years...
even though he knows better... why cant it just be legal fuck this

I should clarify, the doctor I went to exclusively sees patients interested in medical marijuana. I had to get a valid prescription or documentation that I had a condition (potentially treatable by cannabis) from my primary care doctor before I went to see him.
One of the main effects he said that could be avoided by taking a week off is memory loss. Even though I've done enough research to know that a clear link hasn't been established between weed and memory loss, I'd rather be safe than sorry if it's coming from the mouth of an MD... |
