i was wondering, how does someone go about becoming one of the people who grow legally and for a living? how much do these people get paid? and what kind of education if any would you need? any help would be appreciated

a lot of people just grow on their own with a regular medical card, and then bring it in to the shops to show them how dank it is. If the shops like it, they'll buy it. You don't go to school for this type of thing, you search the forum and start growing to get hands on experiance.

ya as stated above your getting way too deep into the science part of it thinking people need a masters degree from the weed ivy leagues or something =p but honestly just get really stoned and read anything and all information you can find talking about cultivating,botany,lighting,electrical,exhaust systems, and chemistry.

A good portion of the growers that sell to cannabis clubs do so illegally. I'm pretty sure there isnt any kind of permit you can get to do it, but like Dezorated said, if you have a card you can grow legally. The best way to start growing for clubs is to go in and get to know the people there, if you make friends with the owner he's much more likely to be willing to look at your homegrown.

I've heard that the best thing to do if your growing and have a club card, is to go in with like an ounce of your homegrown, and try to trade it with the people working at the club. If its good enough you can usually get some of the club's dank for your homegrown.

I doubt you'd want the clubs bud if you can grow homegrown because obviously the people who grow it for the clubs usually have the own personal stash of the best plants or whatever so your not getting like the BEST shit but its still kill. IF you grew your own it would be the kreme of the krop

first and foremost....this market does not tolerate anything but the crem de la crem....and even though i grow my own crem, i do appreciate others at the clinicals....and as far as holding off with the clubs in cali, it is the EXTRACTS that are held for stash....flowers are nice and all but, the big kids now smoke hashish, exclusively. (spiders and glass) who really needs all that extra carbon???

make yourself extremely familiar with dank herb....and reverse engineer with OMRI only products. BUY local....nutes, lights esp and the shops will know you and hook it up. dont lowball in the grow shops, be nice, bake cookies and make them hot soup for lunch....etc. DONATE to your community....help build skateparks, reading programs, help build SAFE playgrounds that are NOT at mcdonalds. EDUCATE yourself on the needs of your community....a medicinal grower IS as a medicinal grower does. choose to be the kindest person with the most integrity in your community.

and this is still the wild west....even for med growers....at the end o the day, we got a little sayin: you pay your money, you take your chances. fuck the feds to hell.
