A Few Questions About MMJ

I wanted to ask a few questions about MMJ because I suffer from a few illnesses that I think would qualify for MMJ but I do not live in a state that has that option. I suffer from diarrhea very often and stomach cramps, social anxiety, and depression. I have noticed that marijuana helps with these symptoms especially when I have stomach cramps and am going to the bathroom very often. I am interested in learning more because I want to be involved with getting MMJ in NJ and plan on writing letters to the politicians that represent my state.

How do you go about getting a MMJ card in let's say CA?
Would I be able to obtain one for the symptoms I listed if I lived in a state that has MMJ?
What is the cost of the card?
What is the cost of the marijuana at the pharmacy or clinic?
Are you protected from being arrested?
Any other info I should know about?

1. Go to a doctor that reccomends MMJ
2. Anxiety and depression and cramps yes but diarrhea most likely not
3. I think there is no cost, just the doctor fees, seeing how it is just a medical reccomendation
4. I am pretty sure it is about street prices but for super dank it is about the price of average, being about 50 an 1/8.
