Bio total newbie Q

Short and quick! I've read most of the threads here and have ingested a wealth of info! First time grower! On the balcony! Not worried about security issues! I have 6 plants just starting out, about 1 and a half weeks! I'm home once a week, and was so proud to see my babies and inch high! At the moment I have 3 together in a 3x1x1 pot. Q's 1.When should I transplant them on their own?asap? 2. What's the deal with m n' f plants! I always read that you should seperate them but why? The need to have sex or myself to help them anyways right? So what's the outcome if they are all together? What's the best way to pollenate? Any info on this beginning process would be much appreciated!

you should really go and read a basic grow guide, thatll answer some q's, but to make your life easier:

there are male and females. the males have sacks, the females have buds. the sacks open and pollenate the females and if that happens, bye bye sensamilla (seedless female plants) and hello lesser grade bud.

in order to find the sexes you need to be in the flowering stage of growth and be able to identify the differences between the male and female flowers.

you should transplant them asap just to make it easier.

oh, and you never want to pollenate your females unless you want less bud and lots of seeds, or if you specifically need seeds.

if you can, go browse the growing section and read the basics on growing, itll help with some of the stuff like light cycles and flowering, and youll find some info on how to tell the sex of your plants as well as neutrients and all that good stuff. lets get some pictures of the plants too!

no problem! just make sure that if you want good quality herb, during the flowering stage of your grow, weed out those males, you wont regret it.
