Tipping the Employee at the Dispensary?

Just wondering if the etiquette is the same as, say, tipping the waitress? Thanks,

No, you do not tip them in general.

Most just grab the bag and run. There is no tradition, but nothing stopping you from giving the worker a nug.

If you tip a waitress it's for services, right? The cats in the cages at the dispensary take their tips from the leftovers and trims. Not that I would know anything about that!

I wouldn't...I doubt they are even allowed to accept tips. For legal purposes. You don't tip your pharmacist do you?

There is a jar that says "tip" on the counter. I just wasn't sure, I mean, tipping is always nice, but what if you don't have change?

I use a delivery service, and I always wonder whether or not to tip. The price is high, so a fee is built in, but I feel guilty not giving something to them. If they have something extra special, or come on short notice - I'll throw a $5 or $10 to them.

Yes, you would in a restaurant, of course, but not in a Starbucks--you see where I'm going with this? Tip fpr manicures, pedicures, valet, just wondering where it all stops. LOL.

I like receiving tips, I'm pretty sure everyone does, why not throw the lucky kid a few bucks
