Hi all -- 1st post. Thought I'd share something helpful, somewhat personal, but cool any way:
I'm a 37-year old, relatively healthy male residing in North Carolina. However, on recent business to San Francisco, I dediced to invest some time and energy in getting certified as a 'Medical Marijuana Patient' in California. I figure, if I engage in an action to ease my own illness, I'd really like that action (consuming medical grade cannabis) to be legal -- at least in one state (California).
I got a medical marijuana recommendation (that's what it's called, not a "prescription") from a doctor for under $140, total. That's a one day prior appointment, arriving from out of town, with only a passport and my medical records, 1 hour of the doctors time, and I'm out the door with a prescription.
And then I was off to the myriad dispensary around the city. GPS in my car helped, and I visited 2 the first day, 2 the next. To say the least, I was well stocked for my return trip to NC with proper medicine.
I suffer, for those of you who will undoubtedly say I don't have a legitimate condition, from pes planus, intracranial inflammatory head pain, nausea, lower latissumus dorsal pain, and a host of other neurologically-based problems such as anxiety, depression and some forms of other things I haven't figure out yet. No psychosis.
And PTSD, from the 1st Gulf War Starring Bush Sr.
I medicate myself daily with some of the FINEST DAMNED MEDICATION I have ever laid my hands on. We're talking mid-teens percentile ratings of key THC and CBD constituents. I vaporize when possible, water pipe second, and use joints third. I also use cannabis cooking.
