Re: Disease specific MMJ strain list

that would be a ideal reality, but unfortunately when indica and sativa are crossed it makes it far more confusing to understand the effects ,sure a 100% sativa would be good for waking up in the mourning and a 100% indica for sleeping at night.but when mixtures are made the complexity is multiplied bye a vast scale.and even sativas can be mellow if cured and grown properly.and not to mention all og kush strains or any other strain are not the same ,one gdp genetic from one seed bank is no where near the same as from another.so in reality there are no strains only genetics.sure there's brand names etc that give you a idea of potency and genetics but to understand a strain in full depth you'd need to know its ancestors.stay free be cool-keep on keeping on

Cool Re: Disease specific MMJ strain list

I never really thought of that, but you're right. I have two hybrids I created. One is from two strains of "pure" sativa the other from a cross of Swazi, Black Congolese and Puna Butter. The former is WAY up there with THC and the latter is the same except for it being very high in CBN's and is so narcotizing even a couple small bong hits and driving cars, following the plots of a movies or anything else that requires thinking are damn near impossible.

Re: Disease specific MMJ strain list

Could anyone recommend to me some strains that do not stimulate appetite? I'm using mmj for other reasons, and would prefer not to get the munchies.

Thanks for any help!

Anything that is sativa or mostly sativa would be good for you. Indicas seem to be the best for stimulating appetite.

I'll just have to take Weedski's word for it. Somehow or another it seems like ALL smoke gives ME the munchies! Now where did I put those powdered doughnuts?

I agree with you. However, after long term use, the muchies diminish. I do not get the munchies any more. But my blood levels are always high. BTW I do not get very high either, anymore. I use cannabis to have a better qualiy life - pain free.

Re: Disease specific MMJ strain list

Reading this makes me very very very happy. Becuse I'm already seeing/talked to my liberal doctor (I'm still 17 so I hope when I'm 18 I get a card). Ialready have pills fot ADD, sleeping and stress. Now the doctor is concerned about apitite since I lost 15lb's in a month. And I have talked to him about random spasms/restless body movements (taping ect). Sounds like I'm a percrct canidate for medical marijuana. Yayay and now to choice what disorder to go with :P

I can confirm that it is.

Blueberry is quite a hard strain to find but whenever I find it's in town I always grab an 1/8th and take my time with it because it works wonders on the shakes and spasms.

I have MS and blueberry almost always seems to be the best high I've ever recieved pain-relieving wise.

I really do not know, but if the stuttering is caused by anxiety - try indica varieties.

Sativas can cause panic attacks with some people. Why not try them yourself?
