that is one hell of a list! very helpful to me and obviously a lot of others. i have a question to anyone who feels qualified to give an answer, tho - i am sick of dealing with sketchy dealers and ridiculous prices only to end up with weed of an indeterminate quality. you never know what you're getting, and that is so annoying because some strains give me panic attacks while others i use to treat panic attacks, and some help a lot medically (i have inflammatory bowel disease) and others are just useless. the point is, i am going to start growing soon, and i have decided to start out with some autoflowering strains to get a quick harvest. i want to grow blueberry because it is highly recommended for stomach disorders, pain, cramps, and anxiety, and apparently has a "euphoric" high which i love. there are two autoflowering strains of blueberry that i am considering, one being simply classic blueberry crossed with lowryder, and the other being sagamartha's "smurfberry". the description of smurfberry boasts about how many of the classic blueberry qualities are retained in this strain, so i was wondering if anyone has any experience with this strain, growing, smoking etc. and could tell me how similar the actual high is to standard blueberry. any takers? |

I don't have a medical marijuana card yet, but use weed for medicinal purposes anyways. I have social anxiety and insomnia, but find that weed helps. OG Kush, Trainwreck and Blueberry are my three favorite strains out of the ones you listed for Social Anxiety, Chronic Pain and Insomnia. Would Kandy Kush (OG Kush x Trainwreck) or Kushberry (OG Kush x Blueberry (?)) be my best choice for seeds if I want to kill three birds with one stone? Or should I just grow two separate strains instead? Thanks. |

hello clinton, once again i find myself reviewing your magical strain filled post .altho i do not agree with the following beliefs ,i do appreciate the amount of enthusiasm you have tooken on to educate individuals on the medicinal benefits of cannabis. 1.it would take endless amounts of research to determine the specific health advantages of a single strain. 2.it would require the complete understanding of the exact cabanoide/thc ratio of that strain, along with the knowledge of how the ratios themselves effect the human body. 3.a great factor would also be how it was grown along with the manor the curing process was executed, which greatly determines the maturity of the cabanoides which of course effects thc percentage along with the effect on the individual. with that said i do agree some strains are notorious for certain illness and work for those specific ones.but to make a list of what strain is good for what illness would take years of research out of the grasp of one individual. with love, stay free be cool ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() godofganja

I am certainly no expert, especially regarding starin/disease specific, however the one thing I HAVE learned is that the effects rests largely on the THC/CBN ratio. With a high THC and low CBN ration the effect is an up, energetic, want-to-do-stuff feeling, and when those ratio's are reversed where the CBN content is much higher than the THC content the effect is a very narcotic, sleepy, somnolent body effect. The first is great for appetite, mood, and pain, whilst the latter is very good for releiving pain and nausea and helps immenseley for sleep. As far as I know the difference is in the prevalance of Indica v. Sativa or vice versa. Sativa's are high in THC, Indica's are high in CBN. Hope that helps. |
