dispenciary question

I am in the process of getting my med card and Im planning on growing myself, I heard from another patient that you can sell to dispenciaries. Is that true?

If you become a vendor yes. That in itself is a difficult thing to do. You have to know people at the club beforehand, have quality buds, and willing to sell it for cheaper than you could on the street because clubs prefer p's not just ozs.

it's possible but dont be suprised if you get denied. For starters you need some very high quality buds also you need to be willing to sell your product for far less than street value (clubs get their medicine dirt cheap). Also you'll proally need to know the people who work at the club, they arent likely to buy weed off of some random guy who walks in cause for all they know you could be an undercover dea agent setting them up (it has happened in the past).

Also you need to consider the amount of risk involed with selling to a dispensary. Most dispensaries if not all of them are being watched by the DEA. Do you really want the DEA knowing you are growing and selling marijuana ? Also if you want to supply to clubs you will need to be able to provide large amounts, which means growing a large amount of plants which will put you at more risk of getting caught.


Last but not least, be realistic. Keep in mind there are thousands and thousands of growers in California. All of them would love to be able to sell to dispensaries, do you think you can compete with some of the best growers in the world ?


If you still think you can pull it off than have it. I've met plenty of people who supply dispensaries so it is possible. The key is start meeting the right people now so then you can bring it up come harvest time.
