Insomnia help.

I was diagnosed with insomnia a few weeks ago. the pills they gave me drive me freaking crazy and ive smoked most of my life and would rather just smoke instead of pop pills. ive noticed that some strains make it better and some just get me high without helping the sleep situation. ive read about indica's helping and some people say that the 50/50 strains are better. any help would be greatly appreciated since im a little new with the medical aspect of this.

Indica dominant strains are best yes because they have higher CBD then THC ratio.
If you are in a state where you can get a medical marijuana card, check into it for sure people at the dispensaries can pick out the best strain to help you with that.
Otherwise, checking out on marijuana seed banks and checking the specs on different strains to find out what the ratios are and maybe you can find some in your area and/or perhaps grow your own.

Edit: Just saw you are in Minnesota as well, soon my brother soon! (Crosses fingers) lol.

ahahah! fello minnesotan i see. well thanks for your info...i have a buddy in rochester that suffers from this too... he seems to be doin well so i thought id give it a try! thanks again

Marijuana might not help you sleep. I know for me, it's counterproductive with my insomnia.

I find that if I smoke 2 hours before bed I sleep very well straight through the night and wake up feeling great. I've had insomnia most of my life. When I was younger I just couldn't go to sleep, i'd lay there all night just tossing and turning, now that I'm older I can fall asleep but I wake up so much that I never feel rested (unless i've smoked of course!)
