I have premature rheumatoid arthritis (and the paper work to back it up) and I was wondering, how can I get a doctor who is not pro-medical to get me a prescription for MMJ? I would prefer medical over other medications, because, obviously, I have smoked it illegally and it eliminated all my pain for weeks after I stopped smoking it. I don't trust most prescription drugs on the market, especially since many of them have negative side effects.
Is there something I can say that might help sway him?

I would tell your doctor the absolute truth on how Cannibis eleviates your pain. If he is resistant to your needs, I would get a copy of your records and go to someone that will listen. My state just went legal and the criteria to qualify for a card looks to be only for the gravely ill.
