Chemdog

i noticed on Attitude they have GHSC chemdog....now i dont know how good it is.... but apparently there are chemdog strains? if so could somebody provide me with a little history regarding these powerhouse strains and possible places where i might be able to acquire such seeds:smoke:

chemdawg is from the great grateful dead era. supposivley a buddy got a zip for 500 at a concert from a roadie and the buyer liked it so much that he got two more zips at a later time. when he recieved the 2 zips one of them had 13 seeds. this is where my memory is affected by this lovely plant.....he sowed a few and got a few amazing phenos. then at a later time i think sometime in the late 90's he sowed a few and grabbed the highly regard chemdawg strain.

sour diesel, OG kush and others have lineage from these seeds from one zip over 2 decades ago!


ive grown GH version of chem and its not bad but an older friend of mine (50+) says its no exact. unless you can get your hands on an authentic clone then i guess you and everyone else will have to settle for someone's IBL of chem.

yea ive had my experience with GHSC seeds and i gotta say i wasnt too impressed, the plants werent very stabilized and showed very poor growth. but ive heard that their "chemdog" is supposed to be killer but apparently no place has them in stock. i also did some diggin around and found that the original seeds from the bag bought at the grateful dead show led to some fantastic plants which gave birth to incredible buds. now if only i can get those genetics and harness their awesome power for myself lol

chemdawg is a great hybrid. very great sour tasting strain, with a supreme high. like others have said, og kush and sour diesel both are strains that have come about from chemdawg

not too sure how the seeds are, but a friend has grown 91 chemdawg, and chemdawg from clones from a local dispensary, and both turned out superb, with the 91 being slightly more potent, but smaller yields

personally, i would rather grow an og kush than chemdawg due to chemdawg always seeming to get very lanky while growing, and og kush not as lanky, and i always preferred the og kush high to chemdawg high, but that is just my opinion

Check out DNA or Reserva Privada same people and have great seeds. best 80.00 you will spend.

look if it has a name that MAY sell beans .. GHSC has some version of it .. even if it is clone only and she is only receptive to pollination on the third Blue Moon of the year ( aka f**king impossible )

Not trying to say I like Arjan, and I definately do not respect him, but he did acquire all of Apothecary Seeds genetics(everyone seems to have a price these days); these include many of the Apothecary Kush lines(Bubba Kush, Kings Kush), and if I am not mistaken they also had some Chemdawg cuts, as well as a few Chemdawg crosses from the Lake Tahoe and SFV area.

Arjan will have Franco will work his magic:rolleyes: on them and we will see them all released in their fem lines. I'm sure Apothecary only sold them cuts, and of course the names, so most likely, GHSC has these to work with.

I'm wondering what Rez used for the male of this. Could you enlighten us AW? I know you do your research, and am very curious as to what he used. IMO it would make sense if he used a male from his Sour Deisel, since Sour Deisel is a direct descendant of 91 Chemdawg. However, I notice he does have a Chemdawg Sour Deisel already, so now I'm even more curious.

I do not go on IC since being banned, so I would be curious if he placed any info there on this.

i have a few PM's out there to get the exact info on this.. i don't want to speculate without having info from someone close to rez himself.

but.. they are all sold out already anyway.. i think 200 packs in a few hours.

I knew they would, but knowing what went into the IB would be nice to know b/c I have some 91 Chemdawg BX2 which the breeder used pollen from a Shiva/Super Skunk male. I have yet to grow any b/c I'm saving them for my Deisel project, but those I seen grown came out nice and have that frosty look of the true 91 Chemdawg 4 cut.
