i was interested by the article. I never heard of The Friendly Stranger (i never seen reefer madness). After i read it i knew ppl were going to diss it, don't worry about them, just focus on your next piece.

I don't know what you guys are going all nuts over. I mean this isn't a Hunter S Thompson diatribe but it isn't some 5th grader's interpretation of Acid Logic. I thought it was pretty good for the overall. Some of the X-Files excerpts could have been done more effectively but shit every writer has issues making certain ideas work. (I didn't find it to far off, I guess some others here haven't the life experience to understand the angle) The fact still is we have a dedicated activist and writer giving us FREE material.

So take your seats and relax, or better yet get off your ass and do something besides bitching about a guy giving back to the community.

I am sorry to say, I understood nothing. I've never heard of the friendly stranger up until this point, and after reading this I still don't know who he is. I'm not saying its bad, but as was stated the information was a little back-and-forth.

I think I've found your problem:

Bi weekly articles by Matt Mernagh, the (in)famous pot activist, articles on DIY, Lifestyle, product reviews from the Sea of Green and more.

How about something topical to DIY, Product reviews, etc. Less of the "more" and more of the other stuff.

well i found this hard to follow because your last article was full of more fact than fiction. this, after reading it, seems to be like you're going for a film noir feel, trying to build up some mystery behind this guy, making him more intriguing, but at the same time trying to exploit him?

honestly, i've never heard of the friendly stranger either, so all of this article was rather confusing to me. and the stoner tip line, haha what? but overall good shit man, i know you'll be back with other very satisfying articles

I completely understood what you were getting at and the article was an interesting read, but my problem is the same as a few other people. The character you chose to write about is obviously not as widely known and recognizable as you had thought. I've never heard of the Friendly Stranger. Haha

Well its not even about who it is on. Its nice to hear something I don't hear about that often. I personaly didn't like the G-13 article because I've been in soo many arguments with fellow stoners on wether not this exists and quite frankly I did not want to read through a whole article of speculation onto the matter.

This article was nice in the way it brought something to my attention that I did not know(Kinda like when mythbusters busts soemthing you didn't even know was a myth.)

Although the video was a key point of info I still had to re- read a couple of times to understand WTH you were talking about. You should really look into an editor. I know this work is coming from someone thats probably higher then me but can't you at least email these to a colleage before you post them?
