just looking for some comments toward either one i haven't grown inside before so i got no knowledge of lights.
I have an offer on my hands, this guys want my chains saw 18" craftsman 40cc
for either t-5 8 bulb or lumatek 400w (its the dimmable one)

Holdenbuda: I favor T-5's. I'm a hobby/personal grower for my meds, not commercial. T-5's are inexpensive to run. They burn cooler than most lighting options and they're very flexible. I use 5000K grow lamps up to flowering and then I switch to 2,700K red flowering lamps and they do the job for me. Just make sure that you buy a fixture that completely covers your grow. T-5's don't spread the light well. I hope that helps. Hank
