Propaganda at it's lowest - "Messing With Heads"

*I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong area, mods/admins, please move it if so. I also hope this has not been posted before, I searched for the video, and nothing came up. Here it goes.*

Hello all!

I was on YouTube today killing some time, and I stumbled across a feature called YouTube Movies -> YouTube - Films bekijken op YouTube <- I dont know why it changed the langauge.

While browsing through the selections, I came across one called "Messing With Heads" which appears to be a fairly recent Anti-Marijuana "documentary" from Australia.

I could only handle about 10 minutes of the film before I had to turn it off. The amount of disinformation presented is so jaw-droppingly absurd and unbelievable that it's such a shame that material like this even gets made these days with all of the information about the positive benefits (and lack of negative ones) that marijuana has to offer.

I recommend you take a quick glance on this and give me your opinion. I'd like to know what everyone has to say.

(On a side note, for those of you who DO watch a bit of the film, take note of the first girl they interview. I kept getting the vibe that she hadn't even smoked before - at times it sounded like she didn't know what she was talking about. Or at least wasn't as "heavy" as a user as she/they claim.) Anyways...)

One thing I'm noticing is that they are saying things like- "concentration of cannabis" or "doses of cannabis." They are refering to THC and Cannabinoids as cannabis. Which is not correct in anyway. Just by those statements alone you can tell they are unprofessional and uninformed.

So in the video they talk about how this girls parents moved her to some "safe house" away from all the evils and how she would still feel the same effects she felt when smoking weeks after she had quit.... Its amazing how will refuse to acgnowledge that their kids have a mental illness and will blame her dillusions, hallucinations, and paranoia that she had while in rehab on weed, even when she was diagnosed with schizo when she was younger.

If you ask me she was doing crack/pcp or something like that and just didnt want to admit to her parents that she was doing hard drugs so she blamed it all on weed

I agree. It wasnt the cannabis that caused her life to fall apart like that. Anyone can abuse anything. Knifes and forks are abused all the time for self mutilation, should we make forks and knifes illegal?

I read a bit about her on BBC news about a week ago, this is from memory so forgive me if I am completely wrong, but of what I remember it stated that she participates in studies like this often- Studies that test mental stability while on specific substances, or going through certain experiences. I feel like she loves the attention. She gets to play victim, and everyone around her eats it up... She may not be smoking pot anymore, but instead she is using attention to get herself the high she wants.
