I dont have a problem with the concept of the picture seeing nyc shrouded is a cloud of smoke the day it gets legalized is pretty funny. Sorry dude, but 99.99% of people looking at that wouldn't make the connection to 9/11. It's just a picture of NYC which has been completely shopped up to have a HAZE of smoke - clearly relating to the headline below - which almost everyone probably read immediately.

Using your logic, we ought to ban all satire, seeing as it pokes fun at (and makes light of) serious, and relevant, political and global issues.

Just smoke a joint, dude.

I think you must be the only one to connect that picture with 9/11. To everyone else it's just a bunch of smoke that could have been photoshopped anyway (i know it wasnt).

Nope. I laugh at terrible tasteless shit all the time, even when I know it's totally wrong. I'll giggle at abortion jokes and women's rights jokes all day. Just because it's based in a tragic event/controversal topic doesn't make it untouchable as far as I'm concerned. You can have respect for something while still joking about it. Everyone I know busts eachothers balls constantly, but we still respect each other. Same deal.
