Time is on OUR side guys, the number of smokers is only increasing every year and so are the knowledge of regular people that are waking up and smellin their future burning before their eyes. In closing guys the times of thinking oh no not the feds we cant do anything about them is done, we are the PEOPLE of this country, we are the democracy NOT them. They are the businessmen that couldnt care less about our safety so long as they have their little sheltered lives to go back to. Again with the OP, WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT THE PEOPLE WILL GET, by WHATEVER means violent or peaceful.

Did any of you actually THINK that MJ would be legalized on a national front under Obama? It's not like he actually campaigned on that, or even said he would. The only thing he said about MJ that I can recall is that he would back down on MMJ raids by the DEA, which he has.

BUT HE NEVER said he'd legalize it.

i agree, but to just shut it down with no reasoning behind it is not nice considering how many young people made him win. it is also BULLSHIT for gil to say "its dangerous and has no medicinal value". He himself came from seattle where he admitted to making marijuana a low priority because theres more important things to worry about. If marijuana is dangerous than what are mushrooms super dangerous? And there was a raid very shortly after he said that by the way.

Oh and WildWill, yes Obama never ever stated that he would legalize marijuana, but still from his staff i would at least expect some recognition that medical marijuana does exist.

I remember seeing in the documentary 'In Pot We Trust' there was a politician they said was very ruthless and pure-blooded republican and when they introduced themselves as the MPP and tried to interview and ask about medical marijuana he just barked 'MEDICAL MARIJUANA DOES NOT EXIST' several times and ducked into closest room

And dam that got me mad and also glad that we have something different than that now - doesn't seem like it though..

My parents made me go to this doctor the other day. He kept telling me how marijuana seems to have helpful effects on me and im "self-medicating", but people get long term negative side effects of marijuana. He says "I want you to try this anti-depressant (i have no depression?) instead of weed. Then later he kept talking about how everybodies chemistry is different and all drugs effect people differently so it might not be the right drug for me. So I say, "then whos to say marijuana isnt the right drug for my bodies chemistry?" Dude gives some bullshit answer, obviously only wanting to make money. But fuck that i didnt buy into his stupid ass drug that wouldnt work.

It was clear this dude knew weed helped me but didnt give a fuck because he wants to make money. Stupid ass country we live in built on lies.
