Technically, states have the right to decide decriminalization for themselves. But the feds won't be having any of that. Decrim/legalization most likely won't happen in our time, since that means the government has to "back down" somewhat on the "war on drugs". They can't do that, because they need to keep pumping a strong anti-drug message into the media hungry minds of ignorant americans. The "drug war" is one of the biggest misinformation/misdirection campaigns of all times. If the federal government legalized weed, the prices would go down, and they wouldn't make a fraction of what they do now by selling weed and other drugs....
If America actually was a democracy, the people of the republic would be able to decide the laws on drugs, not the power hungry bastards that are running this country into the ground.....
