"Will you consider legalizing marijuana so that the government can regulate it, tax it, put age limits on it, and create millions of new jobs and create a billion dollar industry right here in the U.S.?" S. Man, Denton Hide response President-elect Obama is not in favor of the legalization of marijuana. Transition Team, Washington, D.C. ........they responded? |

Change.org AND Change.gov are having a whole new round of voting. The stakes are even higher this round, because of the media attention/endorsements for it's cause. Vote. | |

This is a very important issue...whether it leads to legalization or not this is a huge step. By winning this vote we will be ahead of global warming, health care, and many others. Just so you guys realize how important this is read this: “The top 10 rated ideas from the final round will be presented to the Obama administration on January 16th at an event at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, co-hosted by the Case Foundation. At the event we will also announce the launch of a national advocacy campaign behind each idea in collaboration with our nonprofit partners to turn each idea into actual policy.“ This will definetely turn some heads and grab the attention of the people and government if we win. |

Well...the responses are up, in video mode this time. They didn't address marijuana, except for on the very bottom, in the already asked questions section of the page. I love how they grouped all of our drug policy related questions to the "legalization one" even though this round was full of different, possibly more legitimate questions. I really hope change.org pulls through.
