i'd be down with that... hell, if enough people go for it, there might be a big enough cloud to get congress stoned :P (and you KNOW the news agencies would leap on this like a pack of wild dogs.)

i'd even go a step further... everyone brings as much weed as they possibly can so they can fumigate the rats out of office.

it just hit me that i wouldnt be down cuz if i get any type of drug charge ill lose my scholarship....and i wont be able to get government grants or any of that good stuff...

Im in... who ever started this should be counting the amount of people who said there would do it.. also ^^dude it's DC all the way.... i would be willing to set up busses to drive there from the West coast... it would be a fucking revolation.. when 10's of thousands of stoners show up on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW Washington, DC and just lit up..

This really needs some serious planning starting now if we want the numbers we need.

Someone Make an Excel spreadsheet with name/phone number/email of people who plan on attending. Thats a start and anyone can do it. I think if we had a website specifically for this event where there was a registration for the event it would be much easier than getting it through a thread. On this website we could also put a lot of information about the event obviously.

As far as smoking during the protests that can go either way. If you have enough people you can basically do what you want but if there are less than I'd say, 1000-2000 people you probably should not.

Unless there is a serious amount of dedicated people, a march or a sit in on washington is most likely out of the question. However, If the date comes around and there isn't enough, we can always get everyone who's gathered in each state to simply drive to the capital and protest there. This would be managed through different people throughout the states. For example: I live in texas. If we had someone in Houston, Austin, and Dallas. It would be much easier to manage than having one person handling everything.

That's thinking a little far into the future but right now a couple things can be done by anybody who stops by and reads this thread.

-Excel Spreadsheet. (Send PM's to users or ask them to reply in this thread.)
-Flyers. (Anyone can make these, just make one and post up a link and people in this thread can decide if it's good enough. No vulgar images. Has to look somewhat catchy.)
-Someone needs to actually call and ask about the location on the lawn or wherever. Many of these events need a sort of permit as to not get shutdown instantly.
-I think there's already a social networking thing going on for this. But if not someone needs to for sure get on facebook and SERIOUSLY monitor it. Not every week. Not once a night. Honestly nearly 15-20 times a day.

Once these things are done we can start promoting it properly. Once a flier is selected and uploaded. Anyone can print however many they need right at their house. So what you do from there is anytime you're going to anything with a bunch of people, hand out fliers. Obviously you can just walk around and hand them out everyday if you wanted but I'd suggest concerts, and festivals. As long as everyone's passionate about it, we'll see results imo.
