First thing is first and get it on the ballot. You know California seems like the first state that would make it legal! We voted on prop 215 now here is the chance to vote for hemp/cannabis for fuel, food, and euphoric purposes.

If you'd like to help, come to California and get a few thousand signatures (Might need a resident to sign off on your petition)
http://www.youthfederation.com/

Let everyone you know in California about this and get them to sign, tell others, and collect signatures!

You guys really think the feds are gonna let this shit happen? Its fucking California not Amsterdamn. It would create a whole huge mess of problems on how to deal with state/federal issues. You think the feds would stop clearing DOZENS of fields out at the end of the summer or stop busting people growing it indoors? Nope. Thats a big Hell Nope if they find out marijuana is just being mass grown in Cali and being shipped to other states wheres its not "legal" (it already is haha). Ick. I dont wanna image this problem...

How about instead of EXTREAMLY unlikely ideas like legalizing it, we try and get some legislation up to revamp the HORRIBLE state of the MMJ system so its not looked at as the joke it is, then push for others to adopt a similar program. Right now the biggest problem is you can get a medical card for anything, which is fine I guess... if your hurt and it helps then so be it. But there has to be an end to the gangbanger idiots who own the dispensaries, like the guy in Modesto who made a rap video. Then the screening process needs to be made WAY better than it is now. Theres too many 18, 19, 21, etc, etc year olds with absolutly NOTHING wrong with them but they use mmj as a crutch for not getting busted, thats gotta stop. Almost everyone i've bought weed from in the last 6 years has had a MMJ card and often re-uped from the dispensaries. Abuse is abuse, and we abused the system and turned medical marijuana into a joke. Fix that and we might be able to get other states to adopt the same system and eventually get it federally recognized, which is our goal...

Those are just my feelings on the issue, i'm not trying to piss all over your thead so please dont take it like that.

The Nevada thing almost won. Let's let California voters decide. The next president will likely stop raids on medical marijuana (hopefully). If it is legalized, and these raids stop we have legal hemp and cannabis in California.

Not being from California I'm still tripping on how almost legal it is here with medical marijuana.

If federal raids are stopped, opening a dispensary for medical or legal cannabis becomes less of a high profit margin fringe of the law thing. Federal raids may be why people like Kraz go into this high-profit margin dangerous market.

The video is entertaining though! No?

You know, pot was legal back in the 70s, so its not like it would be the first time this happened.
I can't wait! I hope we get enough signatures.

http://www.jackherer.com/initiative.html

The 2008 initiative in California is the first attempt at fully legalizing cannabis across the board, not just decriminalizing for personal use. Depending on who becomes president will also affect how the Feds react.
