Hello my pot-loving peeps, I too am so glad to be here. One of my favorite things to do is smoke and talk about smokin'! I'm a daily smoker, but not a weed aficionado. I normally smoke whatever my wonderful husband brings home.

RMJL, oooh I plan to enter my cutie next month. She's just as much of a pothead as me. pigwax, I started smoking in college. I was pretty naive and secluded as a child (west Texas) so I wasn't ever around any drugs. In college I was a closet pothead. My boyfriend and I had our normal friends (straight) and our "other friends" who smoked. We didn't mix our friends. I guess people really frounded on it where I went to college. I only smoked here and there for a year after I graduated. I moved to VA and didn't smoke for about 2 years. I finally met some friendlies and started smoking again. I smoked about 2 a week. My roommate at the time was so uptight. I think he would have flipped if he knew I smoked. That was 4 years ago. 2 years ago I met my husband and his roommate was a total pothead. I started smoking about 4-5 times a week. After we were married and we moved to a different apt to have some privacy I started smoking daily. I can only remember a few times in the last year and a half that I haven't smoked on a daily basis. I only smoke in the evenings during the week. I can't smoke and work. I'm a stoner - I like to be stoned. So that doesn't go well with work. I'd never get anything done. Anyway that's a lot more than what I was going to actually say, but whateve. I have to admit I love to talk about pot. When my 'cool' friends are around that is all we talk about.

i had a golden retriever that also loved the ganja, he would always walk towards me whenever i started smoking and he also always tried to eat my stash, that was annoying. i've lived in texas since i was in the 3rd grade, but i started smoking when i was 12. around that time, i had absolutely no stoner friends, they were all straight edge, but i became interested in it just from seeing it on tv and movies, i always wondered what that felt like. my brother didn't want me to be a pothead like he was at the time, so he only let me smoke with him once, then i found a bag in my dad's drawer and thats how my smoking habit began. i ended up turning most of my friends into smokers and i later started buying from a friend's dad all the time, its been fun since. i've always been the poor stoner in the group, so i usually had to save up the lunch money my mom gave me every week just to have enough to smoke on the weekends. i've never had a friend that looked down on me just for smoking, even all my "innocent" friends are cool with it. i can't even remember what i mostly talk about when i'm smoking with my friends, but of course the subject of "when are we going to get more green?" always comes up. anyways, i'm still in high school and i still live with my mom, it sucks. when i lived with my dad, i used to be able to smoke and drink with him. I'm "18" to be on this forum... but the truth is one year under... n e wayz, i gotta stay clean until 4-20 for an upcoming job drug test and because it would be nice to have low tolerance on the day i smoke myself into a coma.

Every dog I've ever been around comes to smell the ganga. My dog sniffs my pot box all the time. I don't let her smoke with me every day. She's still a puppy. Not that it makes any difference, it just makes my conscience clear.

That is hilarious about buying from your friend's dad. I could never tell my parents I smoke. They think it is really bad. So lame. I would kill to have parents that smoke. But since I've moved to VA and found my way into pot friendly folks - I can't seem to find any that aren't pot friendly. I am just lucky that my husband doesn't mind. He isn't an avid smoker. He smokes like 2 or 3 times a month, but all his friends smoke.

yeah my dad was alright, but my mom has never done anything her whole life, not even drink... i wonder what they had in common? n e wayz, i'm surprised that anyone only smokes 2-3 times a month if they have easy access to it, maybe he doesn't like the feeling that much?

Yeah Christian doesn't like to smoke much because he has a lot of really morbid thoughts when he's high. Like how he's going to die, being in a coma but having lucid thoughts, yadda yadda yadda. I have to say that is a total downer. His drug of choice is alcohol. He drinks quite a bit. If he isn't drinking he probably on ativan. We both have our little dependencies. I can be a bit moody so he enjoys that I smoke.

to each his own... i guess some people are just like that with weed. i would drink more if i could, because drinking usually puts me in a much happier mood, i love everyone. weed, i can imagine, would probably help a marriage stay strong, not as much fights when you're stoned.
