High guys...

First post and I'd like to introduce myself. I found this site through a friend and I decided to risk joining and posting.

Thanks to some of the knowledge I already had and some quick tips gleaned off the forum I now have a basic set-up and 4 seeds germinated waiting to poke through! Woohoo!

Using CFL's is badass! I found some 26w 6500K bulbs at a local wallyworld on the cheap and bought about 12800 lumen's worth. Cool thing is that that only equals close to (two) 100w incandescent bulbs electricity use.

Why become self sufficient? Medical reasons on one hand and real fear on the other.
