hello grasscity, from a sativa lovin' noob

i've been away for marijuana forums for a while, but as i've recently took the plunge and ordered seeds that i'll be turning in a week or two, i decided to get back into the information pipeline.

i still need to build my growroom, so i'll definately be browsing "best bulbs and ballast" threads as i'm just sprouting under 4' flouros right now.

to anyone interested in strains, my first grow will consist of
C99 splash (cinderella 99 w/ a little bit of lien huanh) which is supposed to be pretty close to original C99 and hopefully is maybe a little bit trippier. i'll be chosing a male from this strain to pollinate the rest of the strains as a fast maturing yet trippy strain is what i'm most interested in.
pure power plant
mixed sativa
haze X skunk
bubblicious
california orange (i wanted apollo orange instead. oh well... spice brothers went bye bye)
troublemaker (hindu kush X masterkush freebie)
along with a bagseed sativa and a bagseed indica.

sadly... i've been sitting on my stock way too long and very few beans were still viable. i HAD some REALLY nice beans that i'd gotten from mexican commercial and a REALLY spicy sativa that was a blast. it might have been kali mist as it had the same peppery taste.

i thought that "mixed sativa" was a sativa grab bag that included the sativa mexicana that i really wanted, but the mixed variety is vigorous and stretches like crazy so let's see what happens with that.

if you have any interest in these strains, stay tuned as i want nothing more than to post smoke reports, especially for the sativas.

this is my very first grow for anything other than daily leaflet trim and my first grow using named varieties too so i'm very excited.

once i get past this trial run, i'm interested in trying some high end sativa strains next time out like
