Hi, if i set up a bubble bucket and instead of using a normal air pump use a oxygen/hydrogen generator to put pure oxygen in to the bucket would this improve growth if used in conjunction with co2, also does anybody know if i could let the hydrogen bubble in with the oxygen or would it be best to just use the oxygen, i have constructed the oxy/hydro generator and just wondered if anyone has or knows someone who has tried with pure oxygen.
Cheers

pure oxygen is dangerous shit m8 - as in it like oxidises stuff - u know = burns things / makes metal go rusty etc........
More likely to make ur plants spontaneously combust rather than makin them grow
Hydrogen is also very explosive. Even more when mixed with pure oxygen.
I can imagine u lighting up a spliff & taking the roof off of ur house!!
*don't bother tbh - just see what others have got good results with & do the same - before u leave a crater where u used to live

thanks for the response but i am well aware of the risks involved with oxygen and hydrogen
, it was more of a idle curiosity as to whether the oxygen would boost the plants a bit
, will probably keep the hydro generator for ballons and stuff but if anyone has tried it in the past with good results i may give it a whirl

Did an experiment once with a large balloon(2 foot diameter) of pure oxygen attached to a glass tube with a pinhole opening so it took a day or two to deflate. It was blowing into soil, and we refilled the balloon as needed. That plant grew twice as well as it's counterparts. Oxygen helps root growth but air is 20% oxygen and if you are allready airaiting the roots there should be enough oxygen for good root growth. Pure oxygen would be overkill.

I havn't made the bubbler yet but i think i will now but instead of using just the oxygen generator i will use an airpump aswell and try leaving the oxygen generator on a timer to come on for an hour or so every 2 or so hours, would the hydrogen harm the roots when that was bubbled through or not i know the mix is more explosive with hydrogen but this would be in it's own grow box with an extraction fan that would also be timed to come on at the same time as the generator as it's easier to have both gases coming out of one hose instead of individually and also then both the hydogen and oxygen are both being vented outside
