This stuff any good?

Dad gave this to me today. It's got to be at least 5 years old, but it's a full bottle and I was wondering if I could use it on my plant I have any infestations? It says on the back that it's for vegetables and stuff.

Please tell me that you're not seriously considering spraying that on your plants and then ingesting them. Use Neem oil if you get a pest infestation. Its organic. NEVER spray anything on your plants or pour it in your soil unless you know EXACTLY what's in it.

Let us take a closer look at this product- the first ingredient listed is (ta-da) Pyrethrin-

Synthetic pyrethroid compounds vary in their toxicity as do the natural pyrethrins. Pyrethrum carries the signal word CAUTION. Inhaling high enough levels of pyrethrum may bring about asthmatic breathing, sneezing, nasal stuffiness, headache, nausea, incoordination, tremors, convulsions, facial flushing and swelling, and burning and itching sensations. The most severe poisonings have been reported in infants, who are not able to efficiently break down pyrethrum. Animals exposed to toxic amounts may experience tongue and lip numbness, nausea, and diarrhea. Symptoms may also include incoordination, tremors, convulsions, paralysis, respiratory failure, and death.

Nah, don't use that junk. Shit looks toxic just from the front label to me. Also Vegetables get washed(or should) before you eat them. You Herb doesn't. Also they make products for pest control man. Something safer than that at least!
