Kaya 47
Genetics : 60% Sativa, 40% Indica
Flowering Time : Medium, Long
THC Level : 22%
Characteristics : bigger yield and high resin

In this grow journal i will be trying to produce seeds with Collodial Silver. In my grow box i have 1 intake , 1 outtake( Carbon Filtered) and 2 inside fans. So for fans in total. I have begin my grow already, my baby is at 1 1/2 week. She is a bit hurt due to the hotness of the lights. So once i added the two other inside fans she began to recuperate. Guys the plant is in bad condition. I Think its due to to much heat. The ends of the plant are turning brown and crumbling and some of the plant is yellowing. Can someone confirm that this is a heat problem. Please Help!! I turned off one of the lights today just to make sure it was not a heat problem. I never had this problem in-till i added the bigger bulb. I'm just going to keep the bigger bulb on because it doesn't produce as much heat as the little bulb. This also started happening when i raised the plant near the bulb. What should i do? I haven't seen new growth in a while:( First Pc grow so not very experienced. I have 4 fans running so i don;t know whats the problem

What is in the soil mix & what have you been feeding it? That sort of damage can be caused by Phosphorus deficiency.
It must be Jelly cause Jam don't shake like that :yay:

Pot plants begin needing nutrients when the first single-bladed leaves are grown and the first 3-bladed leaves start to poke up between them. This is frequently the point where they are transplanted from an inert seed-starter substrate into a nutritious soil mix. A good mix can last vegging plants more than a month after this transplant without the need for manual fertilizations. However, if the soil they're currently in lacks Phosphorus, then you need to add some manually.

What is a good source of
Phosphorus that i can manually add. Thanks For the info

yeah it probs needs some nutrients mate, go to local nurserie and ask for some seedling raising mix or rose mix. anything good for roses is good for weed when in veg state. and if the cfls are too hot to touch and hold then yes then its a heat problem and get a fan to blow on them

Some of the best high-Phosphorus fertilizers include high-P Guanos and Bone Meals. Bat & Seabird Guanos can be made into teas quite easily, while with Bone Meal it's a bit more difficult. If you'd like to avoid the hassle of making fresh teas, Fox Farms' Tiger Bloom is a good liquid organic fertilizer.

Do you mean directly on the light? Right now they are both facing the plant is that ok.

well cheapest solution is you need good soil so you need some seed raising mix or rose potting soil or somesuch. buy some liquid fish ferts and that. withought good soil the nutes wont do an excellent job. they will still work but not as good. the soil will also feed your plant for a month to help figa things out.

make sure the cfls are not too hot to hold with your hand and also make sure they dont get any closer the 2cm to the plant and try to get them as close as possible.

have a look at my grow journal and youll see that the lights are pointing at the plant. it should help you understand what im saying

Ok Yeah I think one of my cfls is the problem. It gets way to hot to hold with my hand. Hopefully since i turned that one off things will get back on track. Hahaha Saw the your Kaya 47 seeds :P. Hopefully you can make a grow journal on that one so we can compare how alike they look:D

what would be better then that would be to have a fan blowing onto the lights so it keeps them cool. more light the better with CFL's

yeah i got a great selection of seeds, gonna be growing some autos next and then the kaya 47 cause it looks awesome cant wait to see how yours turns out :) will definetly compair when i grow it although by then ill have a HPS light.

Your problem is miracle grow, that is the begining of nute burn imo, bet that shit has time release nutes in it doesn't it? When you get new soil to transplant it into, make sure it has no time-released nutes because that shit is a recipe for disaster when it comes to MJ. Further when you transplant, try and remove as much of that MG soil as possible. By the way if you want to know if you got time released-nutes look for little light yellow balls that burst when you squeeze them!

Used according to directions @2tsp/gal, the quart bottle makes 96gal of mixed solution. The gallon container of Tiger makes 384gal. 3tsp/gal can work well for mid to late flowering. How long that'll last you depends on how much your operation uses. It can last a relatively small operation (~4 plants) for about 5-8 complete grows, veg to harvest.

You could probably get away with just the Tiger and not have any serious problems, as long as you use a good soil mix with Worm Castings and such already mixed in.
