Hey all, first time indoor grower here. I have a small setup in my pantry consisting of 3 plants. I currently am using an incandescent light bulb about 2 ft. from the plants because that's the closest the shelf can get to the light. I am a poor college student so that is why I don't have better lighting... I got this blue "party bulb" by ecobulb from walmart for like 5 bucks and was wondering what kind of supplement this could be for my plants? Or would it have any effect at all?
No effect at all. You need CFL's at the least. And if your using CFL's then as many as you can above 26 watt as possible would be best. Speaking of best.. a low watt HPS or MH would be better...Better than that would be a higher watt HPS or MH. The highest wattage of the best type of light is what you should go for
