So I cant decide whether to do LED, HPS, or MH? I know Im doing 1,000 to 2,000 watts. but I dont know which one would be better. what are the advantages of each?
There is a whole sub-forum on Lighting here at GC. Basically though: Stay away from LEDs for now, not ready for prime time. Very expensive, and many who have tried to grow with them end up having problems (particularly in flower stage). HPS vs. MH really shouldn't be a choice -- MH is better for vegging and HPS is better for flowering, so get the same HID lamp and one of each bulb, then switch out the bulb when you switch from veg to flower. HID does run hot though, so you will need good ventilation and probably would be wise to get cool tubes or air-cooled hoods for the HIDs. P.S. Please don't double-post, against forum rules...
