im building my dwc system, and after reading the post on lst'n the plant all around the pot that seems to be the best way to get maximum yield out of a plant. My question is how big of net pots should i use to have good results from training my plant to grow around the netpot? im thinking maybe 6 pots on one res, res of about 2ft x 1ft.... would it be worth growing with this technique around net pots? can anyone give me a rough estimate of how much root space each plant will need?? or perhaps if i grow 10 on one res, but with smaller net pots, will i yield more?? i kno these questions are a lil too general, but any advice is appreciated.
it would be way easier and probably yield more if you do what's called ScrOGing. especially in a hydro setup like DWC. It's essentially the same concept as LST. also you shouldn't do more than 4 plants in a reservoir that's 25-30 gallons because they need room for their roots.
