Been working with getting a good mother Ganesh for clones. Out of 6 seeds I got only one female. I topped the plant earlier and their was to much new growth not gettting enough light in the canopy for good growth and almost pointless to find a lengthy cutting for the cloner at this rate, so I started 4 more seeds in hopes of finding a plant with a little more stretch with nodes spaced out a little and no TOPPING this one.
Actually think I'm a little antsy to see what this lady has to offer... :smoke:

Been de foiling slowly and a little LST on her and am really impressed with the nice even canopy developing in the center with tons of bud sites. She's under about 180 watts of cfl and when I finish up the AK 48 this week will put her under the 400 watt HID and should see some nice lateral growth before going into the flowering phase.

The company is a c-99 and a Kaliskinova. To be grown in AutoPots....

Enjoy the grow as it develops....

Strain:
Ganesh
C-99
Kaliskinova

Genitics:
Ganesh=Yamuna x Afghan (landrace Uttarkhand, N. India; Afghanistan)
C-99=Cross of the Grapefruit and the Pineapple
Kalishkinova=AK47 X White Widow

Age:
About 8 weeks old from seed. Seedling are 1-2 weeks old

Soil:
Ganesh in FFOF with xtra perlite growing in 2 and 3 gal SuperAirpots.
Company will be in coco amended with Vermiblend grown in Autopots.

Nutrients:
Botanicare cns17, Liquid Karma, Silica Blast. Will supplement with Cal/Mag, Gravity,Snowstorm, and Xtreme Gardening (Just started) Mycos Wp.

Lighting:
180 watt cfl...Soon to be 400 watt HID

The seedlings in the last pic are the 4 new Ganesh, a C-99 and a Kalaskinova.

Started 12/12 cycle Sunday for the mother Ganesh. She has a lot of nice new bud sites that will start stretching soon.
The 4 ganesh transplants will join their mother in the flowering room in another 3 weeks.
Seedling in cups(Kalishkinova and C-99)will be going to AutoPots...

First pic is mother Ganesh, second is 4 transplant and the seedlings....

Got the ganesh transplanted into FFOF. In about two weeks should start showing their sex and will probably go to the flowering room after taking a few clones.

Transplanted the C-99 and Kalishkinova into their autopots saturday with a mix of coco coir, vermiblend, lime, xtreme gardening myco, perlite and pumice and about 300 ppm of nutes.

Mother Ganesh is stretching and has a lot of new bud sites. Been in flowering about 6 days and should start showing flowers in a couple days.

Update
Day 40 Veg...C-99/Kalishkinova
Day 18 Flower...Mother Ganesh
Day 3 Flower...4 Ganesh

The c-99 and kalishkinova are a little behind using the cfl's. Got a 240W grow led on the way so, expect some growth with the new light and by raising the EC.
For the most part they are looking healthy with a little cal/zink problem with the Kalishkinova.

The mother Ganesh has a lot of bud sites since I did some minor lst. Expect some nice cola's at harvest...

The 4 Ganesh, now 2 as I culled two males. No lst, just letem grow for a nice fat cola. Pruned the huge fan leaves for more light penetration. Just showing sex and not flowers yet...

Pic's left to right:
C-99/Kalishkinova(c-99 taller one) auto pot grow, Mother Ganesh....2 Ganesh...

Should have seen em before I defoiled the sucker leaves. Titght quarters so, they look more leafy. Usually start defoiling in flowering with the bottom third of each branch and work up easy. The ones in the back need some work so, after the harvest will sharpen up the pruning shears....

Always looking for tips man...;)
Was just doing some pruning on the two ganesh in the 3rd pic, put my scope to it and their are tons of trics all over the stems and the way out to the tips of the large leaves. Also seeing bud's forming on the leaves...Now that's some kind of genetic mutilation if I do say so...Seems a shame to prune to much...:(
Always thought Mandala landrace strains were stable but, out of 10 seeds seen a lot of variations in this strain...Pretty kick ass :smoke: though...

ok, heres my method, might not be the best way ... but it works :)

step 1. i thank the veg gods for blessing my momma plant, now i water the hell out her and let her get a bunch of run-off
2. while shes draining i prep my cups, make ph water, clean tools, and get my light set-up
3. 30min after watering momma ill ask the rooting gods for a little love and start taking cuttings, i dont play games picking my clones, i start with the best right off the top and go from there.
i cut 1 clone at a time, give a quick trim of branches and chop big leafs in half, dip in olivias gel, place in coco, give a nice heavy watering, then repeat until im done.
4. week 1 gets a low watt 2700k bulb 1' up to promote root growth and avoid leaf growth. week 2 ill use (2) 26w 6500k up 1' and slowly move closer.
5. ph water for week 1, then 1/4 mix of nutes for week 2

guess thats about it :smoke:

no machine, just cuttings stuck in 20oz styrofoam cups with 100% coco.
i water at least 3 times a day, its critcal that the coco always stays moist.

it also helps to keep your clones in a slightly warmer than normal area

Now your talking to me....
Gonna try the clear cup with perlite on bottom and coco on top placed in a solid solo cup...Will be able to see when they root and easy enough to transplant...
