I am one week into my first indoor grow and I thought putting a journal up here may be beneficial for advice and comparisons. I have grown several seasons outdoors, but i am a complete noob at this indoor stuff. So please free free to correct any f*ck ups i may have and give any tips you see fit. Currently i have:

2-EasyRyder Autos in a native soil/Happy Frog/ Perlite mix

2-Easy Ryder Autos in a native soil/Ocean Forest/Perlite mix

1-Easy Ryder in pure Ocean Forest/Perlite

1- Crystal White in pure Ocean Forest/Perlite

1-Blueberry in pure Ocean Forest/Perlite

Like I said I am a week in now, but just to start from the beginning....I germinated by dropping seeds in water for 24 hours then planting directly in soil(100% success with this method). Within 24 more hours all 7 seeds had sprouted. I started out with them all under a couple of daylight T5 tubes. Now they are all in thier own 5 gallon buckets and under 60 watts each of CFLs. I have the autos under a daylight and a warm light each because ive read alot of conflicting info about what temp lights they like. I plan on adding more lights at 3 weeks, and double the wattage, then when i see flowers had planned on giving them 75% warm light 25% daylight. Any thoughts?

Also had yet to see anyone do autos in bigger than 2 or 3 gallon buckets, and if there is one thing i learned from outdoor growing its that these plants like thier space. So i decided to go 5 gallon and see what happens.
Any thoughts?

Since the Autos should be done in 60 days, i planted a crystal white and a blueberry that I will put on 12/12 after i chop the autos. As for now the whole garden is on a 20/4 light cycle, as i have seen some impressive auto grows on this schedule.
Any thoughts?

I will post pictures tommorow, thus far i am happy with the progress but would love some feedback.

Whoa! One at a time guys! I had thought I would get alot of response on this site. Maybe I should take the journal elsewhere? I would hate to spend any more time on something that only I post on......

When I checked again this evening, the affected plant seemed to have some shiny spots and a little yellowing. This particular plant is in a happyfrog/native soil/perlite mix. Any ideas? All other plants seem really healthy. Even this one still seems to be growing?

PLEASE HELP! have exhausted myself looking for a solution, the ONLY thing i can possibily imagine is that my humidity is too low, its stays in the 30% range, sound plausable? i would have to doubt it, but i cant find much else that could be off. Coulld low humidity cause these symptoms?

As far as humidy I don't think that's the case 1. If it was the case then the other would have been affected to as well and 2 I've don't 3 completed grows and humidy was 40 percent then dropped to 30's durin flowering... I don't think that's the problem.. Mabey it was a bad seed

Ya I doubted humidity was it either, ,It was just the only thing that wasn't ideal, I've heard you can get distorted leaves from low humidity, but who knows.... btw thanks for responding, was wondering why I couldn't get a response

Ok so I flushed the sickly plant with ph balanced water and superthrive, just because I didn't know what else to do. The ph of the water in the runoff tray was right at 6.6 after the flush, so I have to doubt its a problem there, but im far from knowledgeable about this stuff. A couple of the other plants have slights curly leaves, but nothing Like this one. They all still seem to be growing...... raising the lights daily now. Fingers crossed she pulls thru.

Also thought I would throw up some pics of my non-autos of the same age. Big one is a crystal white and the other is a blueberry. Sharing a 150w cfl right now.

Ok so now the small amounts of water in the runoff tonite are sitting at 7.3 ph..... the water I flushed with was 6.5 so something in my soil must be raising my ph, im hoping this is a small deficiency due to a lock out..... plausible?

Above are the "healthy" autos, although all of their PH levels are a little high, but none seems affected like the other. 2 weeks, in I think im on track. But this is my first experience with autos, so any feedback would be great!
