Death's Afghan Kush Ryder

Hey Blades,
Got my beans, I decided to go with the Afghan Kush Ryder in soil, cause I don't have my hydro nutes for the hempy that I'm going to do the EasyRyder's in yet, I'll be startin an EasyRyder on Saturday.

So today, I put the Afghan Kush into some distilled water for two hours, then I put it in a dixie cup with organic no name soil with no nutes. I'm staying away from Miracle Gro this time around.

So the seed did not actually "pop" yet, I soaked it to liven it up then just dropped it in the soil pinky nail deep. Lightly covered with soil and put a bag over for humidity. It is now sitting with one 26w 6500k CFL over top.

Anyway, I'm not going to put pics up of a cup of dirt, I'll be adding pictures when and if this girly sprouts. Hang on blades, it's gonna be a helluva ride!

Hey dude until that sucker sprouts theres no need for light. Just keep the cup warm and save your electricity in the mean time.

Mine are world of seeds as well.

I thought I should let everyone know the light setup I will be using. I have 8 clamp lights and 8 55w 2700k's for flower, I have 4 26w 6500k's and 3 26w 2700k's for veg. I'm not sure how I'm going to set things up this time around, but I will have plenty of light that is for sure, I plan on getting two more light fixtures and getting close to 600 watts of CFL's.

Sure, I'll upgrade to a HPS soon enough, but I must say I really like being able to situate my lights to surround my plants, not just beat down on them.

I am too eager for this little girl to pop out of that soil! This is the longest part always.

Yea. I picked upa 400w HPS for 150 off amazon. I was using CFLs and they grew great.

The 55 watts were 12 a piece, the 26 watts about 7 per two, the clamp lights were 9 a piece. I shoulda just got an HPS lol. But I pieced it all together a little at a time.

I used to do outdoors, it was a lot easier!

Well once you own it all its smooth sailing. You will get good results out of your CFLs. I grew my White Widows that are flowering under CFLs. Only got a HPS till recently.

Well, I just made an unfortunate discovery. I was inspecting my EasyRyders and realized that one of the three had a black split along its seam on the outside. That sucks, cause they were not cheap.

What pisses me off, is it was packed like that from the breeder, it should have been a rejected seed. It was hard to spot the split, but there it was like the grand canyon, the seed was black inside:mad:

I guess the freebies makes up for it, but damn that is shitty.

Glad to have you here! I just sent them a very polite email detailing it. I do beleive it was just a defective bean from the breeder. I almost feel guilty asking them since the freebies were grade A strains. But those beans weren't cheap. The strange thing was I had to sign for my package. I'm not too worried about it though, I've read other people sometimes have to sign as well, probably a delivery confirmation to keep people from doing chargebacks on their CC's, saying "I never got my seeds mannnn". I heard they do it to new customers. I don't know, it does have me a little rattled though.

Nah dont worry about it. And the Tude will hook you up. They have came through for me a couple times without any issues. It is strange you had to sign though. I have mine sent to a po box and I dont get harrassed each time Ive grabbed em.

Don't feel bad I have one growing in retarded. Its not me doing it I do not believe as all 3 were planted same time, same lights, same FF Soil. I think it was a bad seed..happens to all of us including crop farmers.

Hey everybody,

Still no sprout, I have a feeling it'll pop up tomorrow though. The tude emailed me back, said they'd replace the bean on the next order, so that's cool. They did request delivery confirmation so it's all good!
