2011 Grow Off Rules and Entry Form 1. Start date to be Saturday January 1st 2011 12:00:01am GST. This will be the starting of seed germination as well as cutting your clone from your mother. 2. End date will be Monday April 18th 2011 11:59:59pm GST. This day also coincides with “Tax Day” in the US which is on the 18th this year due to Holiday. (Emancipation Day) 3. Contestants may start any time after January 1st, However all participants will be changing their light-cycle to 12 hours Light, 12 hours Dark,(Switching from vegetation to Flowering cycles) on Tuesday, February 1st 2011 up till 11:59:59pm. 4. There will be 4 categories. Bag seed, Non-feminized seeds, Feminized seeds, Clones .Both Hydro and Soil will be permissible or any combination of both. 5. Feminized and Clones can start with 3 prospects, Bag seed and Non-Feminized can start with 5. 6. You will be entering 1 Female for the contest and will be the 1 selected on Tuesday February 1st to be put in the Flowering cycle. 7. Due to the nature of this contest, this will need to be on somewhat of the “Honor System”. A weekly photo update will need to be posted at the end of the week on Sunday so we may all follow along with your progress. Your photo should include a measuring device alongside your entry along with some type of time line showing the date of the photo. 8. At the end of the contest all entries will be judged by the GC community. Judging period will last till Sunday April 24th 2011 at 11:59:59pm GST. The bud with the most votes in each category will win. 9. Contestants can submit 3 different photos to be judged of your “Buds” and can be different buds of your plant. 10. Any violations or suspicions of cheating will be dealt with by a majority vote of the participants. 11. PLEASE only use this sticky for the weekly SUNDAY update. These rules are for now just a rough outline and are subject to change as other suggestions may come in. im going to have some changes. i am about to pack up and move at the end of this month. i will be going from 260w of cfl to a brand new 20x36x63" grow tent and a 400w MH/HPS cool tube set up i came in to a lil extra cash and slurged i just need my fan and can filter but anyways if there are any probs with me switchin my setup just halla at me. see you guys sunday
Ok...my Sunday update. Lemon skunk looks strange, and week. By far the healthiest is the blueberry gum. We will see what happens when I start adding nutes.
I am down to one entry for this contest.. The other three clones were not looking well so I took some more.. My official entry will have to be Danielle because she was the only clone to take root.. Still not a lot of vertical growth as of last night, but she was looking a lot healthier when I left her than all the ones I had to say nadda on.. Here she is 14 minutes before 12.. Once she gets a good rootball I'll transplant her into her new home.. A 1 gallon pot.. Then right before rootbound a 5 gallon bucket.. Just got a new 600 hps so I am redoing the grow right now.. If you guys get any extra time click on my new thread in the sig and check out the video.. Every update I'll try to post a video to celebrate the day..
