First Grow! Cfls, Bagseed, and More

Hey gc, this is my first real grow and not my last. Ive been reading here and every where about growing. I know i will be messing up, i already have. I had a grow before this, but it was so bad i dont even count it lol. This is a low budget grow, ive only spent around $70. I am using one box for everything. I will be building a veg/clone box and a flowering box with in the next couple months. The box i am using now is 1ft6inw x 2ftd x 3ft6int. the box is lined with foil (i know its bad ill be changing it) i have 6 cfls 5 2700k and 1 5000k. the watts are pretty high, i just cant remember but ill look later. in the next couple weeks im going to get a couple 6500k bulbs. i have a few fans, intake and exhaust fans. then 2 more circulating air inside the box. I am going to be using this thread as a log for my plants so i will be posting on here probably everyday. i will be using nutes. i have schults 10 15 10 plant food. i have mg soil, it been doing good so far.


i would aprecaite any tips from anyone.

Temp Day: 79 - 82 degrees F
Temp Night: 63 - 68 degrees F
Not sure what the humidty is. i have a ghetto therometer. lol



Jan 3rd - MJ & CS Start germ
Jan 13th - MJ & CS Planted
Jan 29th D1- Seeds started germ in paper towel
Jan 31st D2- Plant A planted in soil
Feb 2nd D3- Plant B planted in soil, Plant 1 (MJ) & 2 (CS) take off =
Feb 3rd D4- MJ & CS Watered =
Feb 4th D5- Plant Baby Sprouted, MJ & CS Grew
Feb 5th D6- Baby 1st fan leaves, MJ & CS grew
Feb 6th D7- MJ & CS Water w/ nutes 3 drops, baby watered no nutes.
Feb 8th D9- MJ & CS & #1 watered
Feb 10th D11- Planted #2 D1 in soil.
Feb 11th D12- MJ transplanted.

The back up is plant a the front one is pant b. the plants that are growing are the ones from my first try. they were 5 feet away from a regular house bulb. they are about four weeks old. i buried the tiny stem like 4 inches so it made them shorter and they could root. they grew a lot in the past two days. im hoping they will grow healthy and be females. Im sorry if some of my words are messed up, im pretty high. Back on to the pants, im not really focusing on the bigger plants. i really want the new ones to grow good and right. any tips will be helpful.

i dont know what you got for space but if you are gonna grow bagseed you should start more than 2 cause i have seen many people try what you are doing with bagseed and when they end up with all males they give up cause of how much time they invested and got nothing:smoking:

I have like 10 seed germanating. Just only have 2 that cracked so far. I can fit 6 in my box but they gotta be tiny. Or like 4 decent size plants. I'm only hoping for one female but more would be great. I'm ordering seeds when I finish building the new boxes.

i just checked the plants a couple minutes ago and they are growing like crazy. i kinda figured they would, its about 4 - 5 days after the transplant. i will be taking pictures later when i water them. thanks for checking my first grow out

well today the plants grew a lot. these are almost 4 weeks old. they had a rough beinning. they are doing great now tho, just look at the pics!

hey gc whats up. well i changed my box to a bigger one. 2ft10inw x 1ft6ind x 2ft10int. it is way nicer, there is a lot more room for my plants. i just need to get some white paint for the inside. i think it will be fine for now. i will get some pictures later on today.

Hello people. so i just watered my plants, and i have named them insted of numbers/letters. i have noticed a lot of growth today. im really happy, they are loving the set up.

this place seems dead, anyone have any tips?

thanks man, yeah my plants are doing great. i have a new baby plant, it sprouted lastnight. ill put up some new pictures in a few hours. lol my roommate always catches me just staring at my plants. when im high i just love to look at them and want them to get big already. haha

Hello yall, haha. hows gc tonight? anyone majore updates today. well MJ and CS my plants that had a rough beginning. They have been growing a lot th past couple days, but today theres a big difference. Also plant 1 had sprouted this morning and it already opened the round leaves and is starting on the first two fan leaves. I have no idea what to name it. anyone have any good names?

Oh, and I wanted to say you should pick up some 6500k cfls to use right now, and switch back to your 2700k once you start flowering.
