2nd/3rd Grow: Shishkaberry | Red Dragon | G13 Haze | The Church

Hello GC.

This is both a log of my very first grow, as well as a log of my future grow(s).

I am legal to grow 6 mature plants, and 24 plants under 1 foot in height (soon to be 12 mature/48 seedlings -- I am the process of getting a medical card for myself, as right right now I am only a caregiver/grower for my girlfriend -- but I should have the necessary paperwork to get a doctors recommendation this month )

My set up and equipment is as follows:

Flowering room:
My flowering room is the only available closet in my apartment, and it's dimensions are approx: 1.75 ft x 4 ft x 5 ft.
600w/400w HPS/MH digital ballast
600w GE HPS bulb
Lumenair 6 hood
6" Vortex inline fan
16" EcoPlus oscillating wall fan

Veg tent:
My veg tent measures a SMALL 2 ft x 2ft x 4ft tall.
6 bulb 24" T5 fixture with 6500K bulbs.
2x 40w CFL's @ 5000K
8" Lasko oscillating fan
4" bathroom fan for exhaust (ghetto!)

Soil / Nutes / Amendments:
General Organics (General Hydroponics) entire nutrient line --
BioThrive Grow/Bloom
BioRoot
BioMarine (cold-processed enzymatically digested fish)
BioWeed (sea weed, ascophyllum nodosum)
Diamond Black
Ca/Mg+
BioBud

AND

ROOTS Organics Trinity (molasses, quillaja, yucca, sea kelp, aloe)
OregonismXL (benny bacteria and mycorrhizae)

Soil:
ROOTS Organics soil amended with a pinch of dolomite lime and some Down-To-Earth (local company) BioLive (mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria with a few other organic nutrients -- promotes a healthy microherd)

Re: First grow - AK47/Pinot Noir/Bubble Jack AND more.

And here are some pics:

1st: View from outside my ghetto-rigged closet.
2nd: AK47
3rd: Pinot Noir
4th: Bubble Jack
5th: Shiskaberry
6th: Blueberry Kush
7th: AK47
8th: Williams Wonderful Haze

Unfortunately, the rooted clones I received suffered a bit of heat stress and light bleaching before I had gotten them, but all the new growth is looking phenomenal. They were also a bit stressed from moving from one growers room to mine, for I don't know what light schedule the previous owner of these clones had them on OR what nutrient schedule they had them on or even what nutes they used. It's been about a week since I've had them, and like I said, they're recovering quite nicely and starting to grow at a rapid pace.

Re: First grow - AK47/Pinot Noir/Bubble Jack AND more.

Today marks exactly two weeks of being on 12/12. Things are coming around pretty nicely. I've got a T5 fixture coming in the mail this week so I can replace some of the CFL's I set up in my mother/vegging tent. At this point, I think I have my perpetual set up ready. Now we just have to get to the first harvest!

Here are some pics:
1 - 2: A whole shot of the flowering closet.
3: Shishkaberry
4: AK-47 #1
5: AK-47 #2
6 +7: Bubble Jack
8: Blueberry Kush (12/12 from clone, it's pictured in my previous post, but now it's really starting to fill out with floewrs )
9: Blueberry Kush, AK-47, and Williams Wonder clones that are vegging out. They are enclosed in a panda-wrap grown tent that I buillt with a PVC pipe frame. Like I said earlier, I'm waiting for my T5 set up to come so I can get my little babies some more light!

All-in-all, I think things are looking exceptionally well considering this is my first grow and also the space restrictions that I have. I would LOVE some comments though, It's so lonely in here!

Re: First grow - AK47/Pinot Noir/Bubble Jack AND more.

UPDATE: beginning of 3 weeks flowering.
Buds are already starting to pack on some weight, and are really starting to bump up their resin production. These pictures are from week 2 day 6 (3 days ago). I haven't fed them any bloom nutrients, but I just got my hands on the entire General Organics line (new from General Hydroponics) so we will have to see how well it works.

I'm gonna be popping some new beans that I got here in a few weeks. My next grow after these 6 finish will be: Barney's Farm Red Dragon, Bubble Jack, Greenhouse Seeds The Church, Greenhouse Seeds Great White Shark, DNA Hash Plant Haze, and Blueberry Kush.

1: AK-47 #1
2: AK-47 #2
3: Cola from AK-47 #1
4: Blueberry Kush
5: Bubble Jack
6-7: Group shot of closet.

Re: First grow - AK47/Pinot Noir/Bubble Jack AND more.

Hey this is Homegrown. I live in Central Point Oregon.
I just started my first indoor grow. Ive got four white widow clones and two random seeds
flowering in there first week right now. I hope the buds look as good as those.
I'm gonna get some nutrients this week sometime. hope to see updated pictures. Your
ghetto rigged closet isnt looking very ghetto at all. I'm impressed. Keep up the good work.

Re: First grow - AK47/Pinot Noir/Bubble Jack AND more.

UPDATE: End of week 4, beginning of week 5.

I had to leave my girls unattended for 4 days so that I could visit family, and as I come home and check on my girls, the light was not on! I was a bit freaked out at first, but after further research I found out that even if my plants suffered a few days of darkness (I think the light only didn't come on for that day) they should be fine. My buddy is of the opinion that there are cloudy days in nature, so it shouldn't matter much as long as it stays on the same light schedule. I checked for hermies and all is fine!

I popped some new beans last night, I ended up cracking open The Church and Red Dragon, and I should be getting a clone of Barney's Farm G13 Haze, Crimea Blue, and Top Dawg as soon as my buddy gets them to root.

Here are some pics:

1: AK47 #1
2: AK47 #1 main cola
3: AK47 #2
4: AK47 #3 (Put in flower 12/17)
5: Blueberry Kush #2 (in veg, going in to flower in 2 hours when lights kick on)
6: Blueberry Kush #1 cola (the frostiest of my strains right now)
7: Bubblejack (this strain smells exactly like bubblegum, and it's definitely my heaviest producer)
8: Bubblejack

Re: First grow - AK47/Pinot Noir/Bubble Jack AND more.

Yea i've been using that extreme serene as a foliar spray as well. Not just on my sour d, but on a few older plants i have around the house that haven't been tended to since the summer. And i'm not sure if it's because i watered them with my nute solution, or because i sprayed them with the extreme serene, but you could actually see them reserecting within a few hours. The stuff is amazing.

Yeah, the Extreme Serene is definitely great. With my General Organics nutrients I have a bottle called BioWeed (which is Ascophyllum nodosum [same stuff in Roots Organics Extreme Serene]).

Thanks for checking out my thread guys, it feels good to finally have a few people checking it out. I'll be updating every Monday or so. If anyone has any suggestions or criticisms I'd love to hear them.

Peace.
