looks like you should throw a few more CFLs in on the side of the plants to supplement lighting.

ok look, since noone is even helping you I will throw some stuff out there for you to think about.

First, even though they are "dwarf" plants, they are dwarfs of a plant that grows outdoors under normal conditions well over 6 foot tall. Sure some indicas are shorter and most sativas can get taller but what that means to you is that each one of those plants wants to be (approx) a couple feet tall and (approx). a foot and a half wide.

Second they dont need more than 4-5 hours of darkness.

Third you dont need bloom nutes until they bloom.

Fourth, those are not 100 watts each CFL. They are 26 watts each.

Good job on the box design though.


On a side note, I've seen dwarfs easily fill 5 gallon soil buckets with roots indoors and reach three feet tall outdoors.

I've also seen people who are able to manipulate a big Sativa strain to grow one bud of a 6 inch long stalk in a soda can. ..

Cant i dont have anymore ballasts maybe ill buy a small one... they said 100w equivalent i know that.

I think since my net pots and resevoir are so small the plants will stay small as well.

also if they wanted to grow 2 feet why would the breeder backs state all under 17 inches....

I'm only on my first grow and are situations are quite different so probably not the best to give any advice.

However I would only add bloom nutes a few days after you start seeing the bud sites develop with hairs, and at this point build the nutes up from a lower than recommended dose. My ER's started to flower at around Day 16 from when the popped out of the mud but I think that was quite early so yours may be a few days later.

You do have quite a small box there but with your limited capacity like you say they will probably just not grow very tall. Just keep being patient and watch them for any signs of trouble and you should be fine. Looking healthy so far, keep up the good work. Happy growing

I am seeing long white hairs on both of the ak's...
nothing on the diesel could have nuts not sure yet

When a breeder states a height, Generally this is just a guideline. An average height of say 100 plants. Some will be taller, some will be shorter etc. nature is diverse.
Plants growing into each other will not kill each other, only compete for light. you could start pulling a few, not too many, of the large fan leaves to allow more light to penetrate into the lower parts of the plants.
How many days are you at now?
If your seeing signs of bloom i would start by flushing the plants with clean water for a couple of days and then gently building up with bloom nutes.
remember to stay relaxed and learn from any mistakes.
with such limited height i'd be more inclined to give lowryder#1 a go. less yield but shorter plants which will be easier for you to manage. Those easy ryders can easily grow up to 70cm in hydro, which is well over 2ft.

At day 25 im seeing lots of preflower action on the ez's. Ill post some pics tonight growth has doubled since last pics. Stems thicker than my pinky finger damnit

Cool man if your starting to see pre flowers then i'd definately start the switch to bloom nutes. but do it gradually. give your girls a bit of a flush adn then i'd keep the dosses low but try a 75%bloom 25%grow nute mix. If the plant has only just started flowering then it'll nees the extra nitrogen still for the first week then just go 100%bloom. But build the dosses up gradually, these girls dont need alot of feeding so be sure to watch for any nute burn. This'll look like the leaves have been burnt and some parts of the leaves flake off. If that happens at any point give it a good clean water flush then leave it alone to perk up again. thick stems mean they'll be able to support big bud growth! happy days! Good work so far dude it's all about to start getting good! just resist the temptation to harvest early! I'll be watching with anticipation, I've got 16 er at the end of week 1 at the mo so i'm jealous of your 2 weeks ahead, two weeks closer to harvest! Peace, Love and Unity

Ive switched over to flowering nutes as suggested and have seen no burning at all so im sure i mixed well.. I purchased another fan off of ebay for the inside of the cab.
