Lowryder Easyryder / Diesel Ryder Stealth grow first timer

Whats up guys thanks for all the help so far. So today im seeing more growth the two easy ryders have just barely started to touch. Im not as worried about them touching as i am the diesel ryder in the corner because im not sure of the sex but i know the easy ryder is femd. All are looking healthy and green as far as i know. Im keeping them very close to the light and ive just switched all lights in the box to red spectrum 2700k.

Im worried about the space i have to grow these i have seen it done but not in hydro. I have a wired cage that i am planning to later hang and bend the leaves over the top in an attempt to LST. The total height of my box is 22 inches. I have about 17 inches from pot to light.

Any ideas on how to keep the plants low and out of my lights?

My technaflora nutes seem to be working well im using the veg and grow nutes right now. Im not sure when i should switch to the bloom nutes kind of a shot in the dark. Should i start flowering nutes now or wait till the first sign of flowers?


And i might be crazy and im not a pro but it looks like my middle plant easy ryder is showing small white hairs in the middle of the plant could this be a sign of it already flowering?!

PH is a measure of the acidity or alkaline quality of the water or soil. The pH scale runs from one, which is highly acidic, to 14, which is highly alkaline. Seven is neutral. Every tenth of a point is a significant increase in the pH level.
If you are using a hydroponic system, the water's pH should be kept between 6.1-6.3, which is mildly acidic. Soil has a little more latitude, but should be kept within 5.9-6.4. When rockwool is used, keep the pH at the lower end of the recommended measure to counteract rockwool's strong alkalinity

Whats a trick to tell the sex of the plant early? With the diesel ryder so close to the middle easy ryder i dont want it to be a male and pollinate the whole box. Any ideas?

There shouldnt be any worry, males are usually the first ones to show sex first. There are some pics on my thread if you want to see a male. I'm trying to produce seeds thats why i'm keeping it. So far I dont think it has produced any pollen, and thats what it holding me back from getting rid of it.

I got the box from buyagrowbox.com the bubbleponics kit came with it. They are good people and took care of everything i needed. They have nothing to do with this grow in any way. I spent around $500 but it was money well spent. They basically threw in every thing it was turnkey.

Alright so theyre starting to be very close together and the middle lady is growing over top of the diesel ryder im fearing that theyre fighting for light.
Any suggestions?

Starting to see mass amounts of growth. I have alot of questions and am really needing help on this one guys. So if you havent been tuned in i have 2 easy ryders and 1 diesel ryder in a bubbleponic system. The easy ryders are growing well into each other will this kill the plants? Also im only using 3 cfls and right now im using blue spectrum lights.... is it time to switch to red spectrum at this stage of the game? Also i moved them down from the lights i had them very close but moved them hoping theyd start gaining more height and less width was i right in doing this?

Also im using veg nutes right now not flower nutes. Should i switch to the flower nutes now?

Yes nice grow you have there although mine is soil. I'll be watching this one as well. I have all the same questions you asked. Hope you get some answers.

I dont think there is anything you really can do to stop them from growing into eachother. I dont see how it would really hurt besides them fighting for some light. I understand thats not what you want either.

As for what spectrum to use.... I would be using both. how many wattage of red and blue do you have each?

Theyre 100 watt bulbs yea i think they will be ok im hoping the net pots being so small will make them not outgrow the box. Thanks linecontrol i switched to all red spec im gonna throw 1 blue in the mix now.

If you can move the lights a little closer that's all i can think of atm
