Re: .:the tb23 log:.

You def have a more than adequate setup, so your temps and RH should be on point. All those fans and filters will make you a lot less stressed about temps and odor which is a huge relief off of any growers shoulders Ill be back to see how things are comin along Nice job so far man

Re: .:the tb23 log:.

Ok here is the set up right now still need to get clamps on the interior instead of the duct tape, I know the ideal distance for a 400 is 1-2 feet but I am not sure for a seedling if it is too much. temps get about 80 max but stay around 76 78. The sour cream just sprouted she will be in there soon. These are all feminized seeds btw so they should all be ladies. Been watering every 2 days and the soil gets pretty dried out because of all the air blowing around.

sprouted 10/27

Re: .:the tb23 log:.

one of the plants looks a lil sick the leaves on the very ends are a little yellow for some reason here is a pic. Anyone have an idea of what that is ? other plants are doing fine.

PS srry for the shitty quality I dunno if its the mh or my camera but its hard as hell to take a up close pic.

Looks good, You will have some great bud with that setup! I'm curious how the bud candy works. I have been wanting to try it myself.

Re: .:the tb23 log:.

thanks bro , I originally was gonna get molasses but they only had that. It is basically molasses mixed with a bunch of vitamins and some fruit extracts. It is used for taste and size, sugar makes your buds about 20% bigger in most cases from what I read. Some say it is the same as molasses.

Re: .:the tb23 log:.

here is a pic from a book left is the bud with non molasses right is molasses used. Some say it attracts more insects like fungus gnats and makes the taste too fruity and non organic though so I will prolly use small amounts on only 1 plant just to see how it works.

Re: .:the tb23 log:.

That picture comparing molasses is in Jorge Cervantes: Horticulture bible (idk the full title) but anyways I bought that before I started my first grow and it really answers almost every growing related question you could ever ask, full color pages, almanac style index/page numbers its only 24.99$ I suggest everyone picks up a copy regardless of their growing ability, this book is helpful for the most experienced growers to the absolute novice growers.. Anyways now that Im done with that rant, your setup looks solid bro, what are your temps/RH sittin at with light on/off? You have a very similar setup to my first grow, probably a little more organized if anything.

Re: .:the tb23 log:.

ya I snapped a shot from my book, I agree it is a good book. I think off its around 72 last time I turned the light back on, the rh goes from 40-50 pretty much all the time. need to find out a way to keep it at a stable number. The carbon filter is pretty long so it kills the cfm's sorta but I figured for 4 plants that was the best thing I could get considering I vent straight outside, I run my 400 cfm on full power at all times. I wish i would of got a hood style reflector bc I didn't know about the hot spots that cool tubes produce until I read it in that book and experienced it first hand, maybe next time. For now I am rotating them 2-3 times a cycle because the center gets the most light it seems.

Re: .:the tb23 log:.

I love forgetting about it then waking up and finding out the grew like an inch overnight

So I was thinking of scrogging at first but I think I have enough room for the 4, sage is a lil questionable bc its hazey. I was thinking of having the 4 pots 2 in front 2 in back and bending the main stems in like a X pattern like each one would go diagonally maybe even supercrop the outside branches. I don't know if I will have to do this but if height gets to be an issue this is what I will do.
