Alright guys, here's your day 15 update with pictures. Yesterday they were fed a water/molasses mixture and had their unnecessary fan leaves trimmed. Today, I'm just showing the budsites and colas. Get a load of this bushy Blackberry plant! This thing is going to be a big producer! I've also been doing the temperature change at night, letting the temps in the grow tent reach the 50's. As you see, the Blackberry is starting to purple! SDC11184.jpgSDC11187.jpgSDC11188.jpgSDC11191.jpgSDC11196.jpgSDC11200.jpgSDC11204.jpg

From what I understand, Blackberry is a cross between Black Domino and Raspberry Cough. I don't know if it's changing color because of the temperature or not. It most likely is. I have two Blackberry plants, and they are both different pheno's. The one that's turning purple is a short, bushy variety. This plant only produces 5-bladed leaves. And out of the 4 plants I have in the grow tent, the only one that's turning purple is the short bushy Blackberry.

I think it has something to do with this particular pheno; all the other plants are producing 7 or 9-bladed leaves still. This short, bushy Blackberry plant only produces 5-bladed leaves. There's also purple lines that run all along the stalk and branches. Regardless, she looks great and is starting to reek |

I plan a photo op on this Saturday, which will mark day 21 of flowering. Updates to come as well. I also just started a new grow, which you can find in my signature. I'll be growing one Northern Lights x Big Bud, and one Hawaiian Snow. Keep an eye on that! |

Just like I said, I'd give an update on day 21 of flowering, and post some pictures. The girls are doing wonderful! The only problem I have noticed over the past couple weeks is the bushy Blackberry plant looks like it's starting to succumb to a nitrogen deficiency. I think I also over-watered them a bit yesterday, but its no big deal because they should be fine by tomorrow. They STINK! The smell is somewhere between sour milk or cheese right now. They just started to develop trichomes about 2 days ago, so they're starting to get a little frosty! I mixed in a dilute solution of Cha-Ching with them yesterday during their feeding because I want them to develop lots of sticky trichomes! Harvest should be around Christmas Day, at least for the Blackberry plants. I think the G13 girls might need to go a week or two longer. Regardless, everything should be ready by mid January. Here's the pics! Enjoy them! 351wbki.jpganeseb.jpgamxkpd.jpg2meb7fp.jpg2v2cy7b.jpg20uwwb5.jpgifbtdv.jpg71pifn.jpg2ngs7js.jpg2sb979j.jpg |
