1st Grow Journal (WW) + (ClusterBomb)

I finally have it down well enough to where I think it would be beneficial to start a Grow Journal. Thanks to Herbel + Jim for answering questions in the past, it was extremely beneficial.


The Plan



Room Dimensions: 8' x 7' x 8' (Walls/Ceiling/Floor covered in Panda Plastic)

Grow System: AeroFlo 36 w/ net cups + Hydroton

Lighting: 2 x 600W Hortilux HPS with Digital Ballasts(located out of room) in Air Cooled Hoods.

Propagation Medium: Oasis Cubes (Clonex for clones)

Odor Control: Carbon Air Scrubber + Ionizer that came on the AC unit

Air Enrichment: Bottled CO2 injection w/ timer. 15 minutes on every 3 hours when lights-on

Humidity: Stays around 40% but late flower gets high as 70% So there's a humidifier + de-humidifier now.

Botanicare Liquid Karma
Botanicare Sweet
Botanicare Cal-Mag
Hygrozyme
Clearex every 2-3 weeks

Heating/Cooling: Heat has been a major issue so it was addressed with a Climate Controller that monitors Humidity + Temperature, Portable 320W AC, Small Heater(both digital temp controlled). The room is 78 degrees throughout most of the lights-on time and 68 during lights-off, however it did hit 90 during the hottest period of the day when it was almost 100 outside....wintertime won't be a problem though

Grow Cycle: Working with clones and seeds this run. I plan on running 1 week 18/6 then switching to 12/12 for 8-9 weeks.

Genetics: 15-18 AMS's White Widow Clones (Bonsai Momma is 4 years old) +13 HGS's Cluster Bomb (thanks for the 3 extra beans ).


I cut clones and germinated seeds 4 days ago. So we're off. NOTE: The pictures of the set up are from a previous run so the numbers of little guys in there don't match up. I already had to dispose of one clone because I left a piece of dead plant on the damn thing and it was starting to develop mold, hopefully the rest will be okay.

Last pull is looking nice so I'll post a few pics. Anxious to get a final yield but good things can wait. Thinking somewhere between 16-20 oz.

Temperature: 80 F
Humidity: 40 %
PPM: 700
pH: 5.7

The little guys seem to be freaking out because of the lowered humidity and higher temperatures. I can't wait til winter when heat won't be a problem and I can go back to using CO2
