C&D's 1st grow(flowering)...thank you GC!

Sup blades, this is just a quick thread to post pics of my first grow ever attempted. I'm startin to post pics a little late, so that's why Im not making this my journal. I will start a new grow journal after I chop these ladies. I also just wanted to show that I've gathered at least 75% of the information I needed to start growing I have gotten from GC. So I thank everyone that has posted pics, info, links, tips, etc. in the marijuana growing category of these forums specifically. Other than that I'm currently growing Cheese (GHS), Nigerian x Afghan (Afropips) and Cali Hash Plant (Hash Plant x NL)(Dinafem). My largest plant (Nigerian x Afghan) currently stands 41" tall, followed by Cheese 38.5", and then the CHP at 37". The CHP was fimmed, the N x A was topped once, and I just am letting the Cheese do her thang. Currently Day 25 of 12/12. My setup consists of 400w HPS, FF Nutes/Ferts (GB, BB, TB), Blackstrap Molasses, Avg temp light on: 78deg, 50% RH, Avg temp light off: 68deg, 55-60% RH. 1x 8" Oscillating Fan, 1x 12" high velocity fan (to help with circulating heat from the light). It would have been a much bigger obstacle to grow if GC wasn't around..please let me know what you blades think...enjoy the pics.

Shit looks hella good man! I am impressed with some people's first setup's. I think it does have a lot to do with this site and all the good info and examples. How many weeks into flowering are you? I've been thinking about posting my grow off and on. Maybe one of these days... Keep up the good work bro!

Hey bro, thanks for stopping by. Everything is going well..I'm currently on Day 26 of flowering so almost 4 weeks of flowering. I hope your grow is going just as well if not better, and hopefully you do get some pics up here and there. Im very interested to see whats goin on with your plants....stay high!

Thanks man, GC is a fantastic resource....much like wikipedia for stoners/growers/etc....I'll def have fun choppin, I'll be sure to post pics ofc!

As regards to the first grow, I just gathered that it's absolutely pointless to grow cannabis without trying to give it your all and without trying to provide everything that you can for your plants. Why disrespect the plant and not give it the ability to grow to its full potential if you're taking the risk of growing anyways...? As for the Nigerian x Afghan she is doing very well, currently at 42.5", and I will post updates tomorrow

Update: Day 27 of flowering

Everything seems to be going well...the girls are filling out very nicely, and I can tell there are some fat top heavy colas about to be born

P.S. The leaf stress and yellowing/falling off of the leaves was caused by me letting the Nigerian x Afghan veg too long w/o transplanting again, causing a little bit of root damage, nothing to get stressed over, probably 2 or 3 sets of fan leaves yellowed/curled up...

That is the kind of attitude I like to fuckin see! I really wish more people that come here and are interested in growing themselves would take this approach, then we'd all be growin the dank! That last sentence really sums it up, fuckin rep for this shit!
